Fully Custom Artificial Horizon

Descripción
This is my new and improved artificial horizon. I used a similar approach as my last one but now its got a few fixes and usability improvements. Most notably, it is way less sensitive in the pitch direction, making it more useful since you can always see the ground. Also, when you tilt all the way up or down, it now has a cool fluid effect where you can never actually reach the top point, instead you spin around it.

The horizon also features an indicator for speed (in knots) and altitude. They both move up and down. There is also a ton more combustibility than my last one. So it can be matched to any aircraft.

Note: If you make a modification of this micro controller that is 'transformative', I have no problem with you uploading your own version to the workshop. 😀 (some credit would be nice though)

Take care, and have fun! -MK

IMPORTANT:

You must arrange the tile sensors in the following way:

- The pitch sensor facing forward
- The roll sensor facing left
- The top sensor facing up

(Just like the three dimensional hand trick for vectors, ;)

It says "You must arrange the tile sensors in the following way:" I think you mean, "You must arrange the tilt sensors in the following way:" Just, it says tile, and I think it's supposed to say tilt.

does this work in 3x3 monitors?

you could try to go into the and change the value that input is multiplied by. Or you could take the number coming out of the altimeter and run it through a function block

Is there anyway to get the ALT meter to count in feet instead of meters?
markers622  [autor] 1 NOV 2021 a las 8:23
I think its in meters

Does the microcontroller convert the meters to feet o it's own, or do I have to do it?
