Yasunori Mitsuda is my all-time favorite composer. I grew up playing Chrono Trigger...I loved its story, the battles, and most of all the music. The epilogue theme was actually the first song that I ever played by ear. It's still one of my favorite pieces...it's so simple, but holds so much feeling behind it.

Wind Scene is another favorite of mine, and I tried a unique arrangement approach to complement all the different emotions that Yasunori Mitsuda expresses and touches upon through the piece. For me, Mitsuda, more than any other composer, is able to express deep and heartfelt emotion through his unforgettable melodies. I've decided to begin a piano collection of my favorite pieces from the game, starting with this one.

I hope you enjoy it. As a sidenote, this piece is also known as "Yearnings of the Wind", which is actually a much more accurate translation from the Japanese 風の憧憬.

Also...snuck that main theme in there :P
