ARGO mini

Descripción

The ARGO mini is a miniaturized (11x11x27) version of the ARGO, a Mini Submarine, designed for Underwater Salvage, Exploration and SAR Operations.

Features:
Waterjet Propulsion with High Manoeuvrability
• Additional Rear Prop
• Max Speed: 32 knots
Integrated Arms with Magalls
Bottom Magalls for lifting heavy loads
Depth Hold, Cruise Mode, Pitch+Roll Stabilisation
Complete Instrumentation: Sonar, Map, Ballast Monitor, VHF Radio, HUD
Collision Warning System
Automatic Bilge Pumps
Towing Winch
Emergency Beacon Locator
First Person Equipment
Diving Equipment
16 Illumination Flares + 8 Distress Flares

Startup:
1. Enter the ARGO from the Top Hatch
2. Get in the Operator Seat
3. Turn on the “System Power” Key Button

Important Notes:
1. Left Arm is controlled with WASD, Right Arm with Arrow Keys

2. Use Joystick Mode (press J on the keyboard) when controlling the Arms

3. If you’re having trouble getting out of the Top Hatch, just jump in the Padded Seat next to it

4. Lift very heavy objects with the Bottom Magalls, NOT the Arms

5. For all operations, I suggest you fill the Ballast Tanks up to the Neutral Buoyancy Level (indicted by the Red Lines on the Ballast Monitor)

Minor Update #1: (v 1.27)
Improved Precision Movement, especially when still/moving slowly.
This will make it much easier to maneuver in tight spaces (see: underwater caves), and to position yourself on your diving target!

is this basically the sub that discovered Titanic just smaller than the other sub?

@C4RBON Thanks for responding! I did eventually find that option while poking around the microcontrollers last night. But nothing I did to try to stop the flares from firing upon spawn helped so I temporarily disabled the outputs to the flares. I was unaware of the bug with the up-down counters. Thanks again for the help!

@Driconis There is already an option to set the bottom Docking Connectors ON when spawning the ARGO mini: just like on the full-sized ARGO, you have to select the "Bridge Switches and Intruments MC" and change the Property Toggle: https://i.imgur.com/846Ar2V.jpg

@Driconis Thanks, glad you like them!
Yes, the issue with Flares is due to a new bug the devs just added with this Friday's Update: they broke Up-Down Counters behavior (especially when spawning vehicles), so now I've added a fix in the logic and it should be fixed on all the ARGO versions (and Passenger Pod as well).

Great work! All the ARGO's are hands down the easiest to operate out of all the minisubs I found on the workshop. I just ran into a couple small issues. All three ARGO variants seem to launch one illumination flare and one distress flare when spawned in. In addition, the small magnetic connectors on the bottom of the Mini (this sub) do not seem to spawn in the "ON" state making it difficult to add the vessel to one of my builds. The connectors definitely work on the other 2 variants, I just prefer this one due to it having the bottom Mag Alls. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

@reaper leviathan 101 Btw, docking to the Base isn't that hard, just go slowly and stay in the center:

@reaper leviathan 101 This submarine cannot dock to the K1 Underwater Base, for that you need the "normal size" ARGO

this is an awesome sub but it is really hard to dock with the k-1 base
