[Halorion] M870 Rampart Point-Defense Gun

(Gladius-Class Heavy Corvette Variant)

M870 Rampart point defense gun is the main gun turret utilized for UNSC Navy. However, this gun is most commonly mounted on Charon-class light frigates, Stalwart-class light frigates, and Strident-class heavy frigates. Besides Gladius-class heavy corvette, Halberd-class Destroyers as well as Epoch-class heavy carriers have them mounted.

It is the most common gun turrets for the UNSC Navy. Though the system itself is common, the designs of these gun turrets differ from ships to ships.
