Therefore, what explains your feeling that the rpk is the best is that because it has a lower fire rate it's easier to control and so you miss fewer shots and consequently do not lose the damage per second it does.
Regarding the mods of the weapon, there are 2 ways to obtain it, the first is to got it randomly in the boxes and the second is to buy it on the steam market.
In my case, I got the Silencerco Osprey silencer and Zenit Perst-3 tactical device in the boxes (that I received as a reward for completing tasks), but I had to buy the Elcan SpecterDR hybrid scope on the steam market.
The best items are the Elcan SpecterDR hybrid scope + Silencerco Osprey silencer + Zenit Perst-3 tactical device, because together they give the best combination of recoil and accuracy (37 and 90 respectively), in addition to having the advantage of using optical + iron sight (a good combination for short/medium distances) and also not appearing on the minimap when shooting because of the silencer, but if you don't mind appearing on the minimap, you can use the Cobalt Kinetic Pro muzzle device instead of the Silencerco Osprey silencer (will give 34 recoil)
