Yes, each gearbox, clutch and number of propeller blades reduces efficiency a bit. But that doesn't mean an engine without any gearbox would produce higher thrust than engine with gearbox. If the load (which is determined by propeller type, blade count, collective value of the blades...etc) is small enough to allow the engine RPM hits RPM limit, then this means that you don't use the engine at full capacity. An extreme example of this would be using the large diesel engine with a single small propeller without having any gearbox.

hi there, first of all, amazing creation, perfect for starters, and learning how the syrup air and water mechanics work on stormworks.

1 quick question, why is there 2 gear boxes between the engine and the props/generator, that reduces efficiency right? shouldn't we remove the extra gearbox?

I also set the altitude hold now it's generally gorgeous

It's a good seaplane and very fast compared to beginners boats but sadly it doesn't fit in the starting dock so you cant use it at the start of the game

Sure, I think it needs more engine power because of extra mass and that can be achieved by increasing RPS.

Did anyone else, at first read the name as "Fat Fuck"?
