Introduction
Halo!

It looks like I'm getting fond of writing the guides for old and forsaken games, but at least there tend to be low competition =] And since there are no guides for this mediocre game at all, I'm gonna make one and cover the achievements, as usual. Please take note that ALL OF THE ACHIEVEMENTS requires you to complete their criteria IN ONE PLAYTHROUGH.
Achievement list
Achievements will be separated in groups and in case you do need something over the bar I'll try my best to help. Also please take note that some Steam achievements' descriptions contain mistakes.

Use X Card Combinations in One Battle
  • Pokerazor - Use 3 (unique) card combinations in one battle. Simple as that, go for the easiest ones.
  • Pokerface - Use 5 (unique) card combinations in one battle. It can be done easier in the later game or I can suggest a Briar Coil (plant that heals itself) in the earlier stages of the game.
  • Imaginenuity - Use 7 (unique) card combinations in one battle. I recommend this on lower tier enemies. Not THAT hard, but still, just make sure you make 4/5-of-a-kind real quick and then aim for the lower ones. Here are the 10 Runespell combinations:

No Brain / Don't Bother Much
  • Lucky B@st@rd - Collect 100 hacksilver in the game. Game says 250 though.
  • Marauder - Collect 1000 hacksilver in the game.
  • Clean Out the Map - Collect 10000 hacksilver in the game. And again, the game says it's only 5000.

  • Bewitched - Active a Powercard 10 times. Should be activate ofc.
  • Enraged - Active a Powercard 50 times. And again.
  • POWERRRRR - Active a Powercard 100 times. RRRRR!

  • Damage Dealer - Deal in total more than 1000 points of damage.
  • Supernova - Deal in total more than 5000 points of damage.
  • Demolition Man - Deal in total more than 10 000 points of damage.

Grind Me, Grind Me More

This gal and the whole her tribe gonna hate you so much, but I still recommend to farm her to get all of the following achievements. You gonna kill lots of birds with one stone - battles in a row, games without leaving, don't use any powercards, go for One pairs to open chests, get Thunder Strikes from chests (I got plenty of Thunder Strike II, just enough to Zeus through the game, but I think you'll have to unlock level II Strike first, otherwise you'll receive level I Strikes) and some hacksilver as a pocket change.

  • Treasure Hunter - Open 5 Treasure boxes.

  • Winning Streak - Win 5 battles in a row.
  • Victory Streak - Win 10 battles in a row.
  • Bing Blang Blaow - Win 15 battles in a row. Friendly tip from Caspian Roach: Escaping does not count as a lose, yay!

  • Hooked - Win 5 battles without leaving the game.
  • Die Hard - Win 10 battles without leaving the game.
  • Runespell Marathon - Win 20 battles without leaving the game. This. Is. Boring.

  • Hero Call - Win 3 battles without using any Powercards.
  • Card Sense - Win 5 battles without using any Powercards.
  • Card Whisperer - Win 7 battles without using any Powercards.

Story Related aka Can't Miss
  • Stay Down - Defeat Berendur twice. The first one will be right at the beginning of the game, within the tutorial area, and the second time you'll meet him at a Scarred Gate.
  • Twisted Sister - Survive Wyrd Sister's Time Stop. You will encounter her at the raided Deepwalker Camp closer to the end of the game. Just survive her 10 AP or something around that.
  • Full Tilt Berserk - Defeat Dethgar and Ragnar. As if defeating Berendur twice was not enough, he asks you to defeat these minibosses to become your ally.
  • Cry Wolf - Defeat Warghul. You are told to "tame" this wolf in order both him and Wolf Priest to become your allies.
  • A Tale Of Two Stones - Defeat two Warden(s) stones. Those mean owl looking statues with 2k+ HP.
  • Divine Duty - Defeat Gullveig (the Golden). Your very last fight in the game.

Miscellaneous
  • Take The King!!! - Win against an opponent with only 1 HP left on player side. Could be tricky, but most likely it will happen naturally sooner or later, so take a luck pill and a Thunder Strike.
  • Popular Dude - Recruit all allies. There are 8 allies you can obtain via the corresponding powercards: Brin Barrow-hand, Hrodbrokk Bell-Breaker, Ash Hob, Cloudborn Nisse, The Wolf Priest, Warghul the White, The Varangian and that dоuche Berendur Red-Cleaver. To my humble point of view most of them are kinda noobish. I used only Hrodbrokk throughout the game.
  • Major Discovery - Discover all major questlines in the game. Nothing really special, just make sure you grab all quests and complete them. The reason I haven't put this one into Can't Miss category is that I'm not sure whether you can actually skip them, since I did them all. It will unlock somewhere near the Skullgrim.
  • Gathering The Magic - Obtain all powercards. You can buy all the missing cards at any trader at any moment (after level II cards became available ofc). There are total of 53 cards: Blessings (3), Secrets (3), Runespells (39) and Allies (8). Just in case, Runespells are: Fire (4), Iron (4), Ice (4), Nature (4), Thunder (4), Poison (4), Fate (3), Glory (3), Doom (3), Divinity (2), Fear (4).

Something Special
  • Runespell XL - Play all battles once. Now this one does require something special, namely this precious spreadsheet with all of the 53 enemy encounters you should win to unlock this achievement. The 54th battle is most likely some cinematic encounter, but anyway I can confirm that those 53 enemies are enough. Please take note that I did not make the original spreadsheet, but humbly took it from the discussion thread and rearranged it a bit. Here is the dropbox link for the file, you will find my version on the first tab and the original one on the second tab - https://www.dropbox.com/s/cexf6mabdsoifns/Runespell%20XL%20Spreadsheet.xls?dl=0 You can mark cells of those enemies that you already defeated with a color. It looks something like this:

  • Collector - Unlock all achievements. Please use the ingame achievements tracker and not the Steam one. All of them have to be done in a single Runespell profile. You really need to make sure you have following 4 achievements left to unlock just before you enter Skullgrim (you won't be able to leave it, unless you alt+f4 in case of emergency but lose all progress inside):

  • Deepwalker - Finish the game. If everything went well you should receive both Deepwalker and Collector after you watch the credits.
Pro tips
- Please take note that all of the achievements are awarded only after completing a battle. So, for example, if you bought all of the powercards you will need to fight someone to unlock the corresponding achievement;
- Right at the start of the battle look for the Straight Flush combination, if there are 3 of the 5 cards available, do not hesitate to grab those and wait patiently for the remaining 2 to show up, 40 (50 if Royal) damage dealt is something to be reckoned with;
- To my point of view your main combination throughout the game will be Fullhouse, so grab pairs whenever you can, either from your deck (preferably) or your enemy's one;
- Do not wait more than one turn if you are willing to finish 5-of-a-kind, it's only 2 damage more, so put some crap on it and strike with 4-of-a-kind;
- If you want to clear the map from the secondary enemy encounters that block your way to the quest, save the game, quit to the main menu and load it back. Thus your path will be free of any enemies for a turn or two;
- Remember I told you to zeus through the game? Well, this method fails versus Gullweig the Golden, so make sure you grab level III Fate (I used 5 Fate cards to beat her, but since it is a last battle in the game you might want to grab some more) and save RP for Fate instead of Thunder Strikes.
Conclusion
Well, to be honest I can't say I enjoyed this game much, cause it gets repetitive way too fast and most part of the game content is not used at all unless you force yourself to use it, like all those 50 powercards and 7 allies. The story is somewhat good and several encounters can provide a challenge. But it has the achievements =] so one more perfect game won't hurt. Good luck!

thanks a lot for the guide, was truly helpfull, I just won all the battles. Unfortunatelly, I f**ed up, as I didn't bought all the cards before final fight, and after final fight - I ended up in the new game. Would anyone be so kind to upload me their savegame, from the time when all cards are awaible? or, just close to the final battle. savegames are stored in the steam installation folder, steam\userdata\<userIDhere>\102200\remote > saves.sg
I'm feeling dizzy when I think that I would have to fight even more battles until I''ll be able to get to tier II cards. Got enough of playing this game :D cheers

One thing you can add about the "Use X Card Combinations in One Battle" achievements; I thought I had to do different combinations, such as it only counts a pair one time, full house one time and so on, but that was not the case. You could use several pairs and it counts every time you do a pair.

There are no missable battles as far as i remember. You have probably not engaged certain battles, which you need to complete at least two times, because the first time you will fight unique enemy and afterwards a generic one. They are marked with yellow in the Spreadsheet (see the screenshot in the Runespell XL section).

So, has missable battles in campaign, right? I'm in the end, to the castle and I'm with 50/54 battles. I played all the map over again, before enter the castle and still missing one battle. I just think if exist some missable battle on the way, is good saying in the guide. If I understand right, I have to begining other campaign again... :/

It's alright. I was using the ingame tracker. I guess it's bugged.

I'm sorry, I havn't played this game for a pretty long time now, so don't remember much about the details other than described in my guide. Make sure you use the in-game achievement tracker not the Steam one, and achievement should have been awarded after the credits.
