Description

Pre-balance version, Steam (v04-s), no infinites. This is the finale to my Blaze of Glory (1.04) series, and will probably be my final publication for the pre-balance version. I enjoyed it very much, but I've since grown comfortable with the post-balance version after working on content for it. As usual, general tips can be found under show more, and hope you enjoy the run!

General tips:
1) Starting - keeping all enemies to one side is the key to this section. It can be done with tactical pushes (using forward special to create distance), and throws.
2) Bikers and jumping girls - open with a tactical push on the Caramels, it'll buy you enough time to kill the Saphyrs and one Garnet. I couldn't figure out a consistent way to kill the remaining 3 yet, so I had to freestyle it. Same case with Candy and the last Caramel.
3) Bodyguards and Sparrows - pretty easy to do consistently, just air dash the guards then finish them off with 3 hit, Charge, F. special. Side step upward and kill the Sparrows with 3 hit x2, Blitz, Neutral jump kick, Air special, Blitz, Neutral jump kick
4) Castle - I'm not very good at this part, so I had to just play on reflexes. I basically just camped in the corner and timed my attacks to avoid getting hit. Occasionally, using neutral/forward special or side-steps to avoid incoming slides or flying weapons/knife shanks.
5) Baabo and Zs - easiest way to kill him is shown in the video. I found it to be pretty consistent, and forward special seems to have i-frames that protect you against the Zs immediately upon landing. No special tactics for the Zs, they can be out-of-ranged and free-styled.
6) Shadows - kill them with Forward special, Neutral jump kick, and use timed hops back and forth to avoid hits. To avoid the second wave, you'll need to grab and throw them, and kill them with whatever means possible as the previous combo isn't fast enough to keep you safe.
7) Fat bois - I freestyled this part, can't find a tactic that doesn't rely on RNG unfortunately.
8) Miss Y - general tactic here was to knock her life down a little, the finish her off with a long combo string so she can't "Star power". Messed up and banked the chain at this part because my positioning was off and the timing is just too tight.
9) Final boss - I played this part conservatively as the run was too good to be taking risks. General tactic is to open by jumping in and executing a combo string of your choice on the twins. If you do enough damage it'll trigger the second phase immediately. After that, position yourself near the top right, the legs can't hit you in v04-s. Miss Y is vulnerable right after she does her super-armor attack. You can dodge this with Neutral special, then jump in and punish her. Finish her off, then just play safe on the spider mech, and you're done!

Other notes:
I should have actually banked the combo at least once at the castle for more points, but I wanted to see how far I could stretch it in preparation for the post-balance version. Will probably be awhile before I manage that one...
