Is it a one-time bonus of +15, or is it +15 hammers a turn?
I tested the civ in a regular game starting from ancient era, but the boxes didn't have much time to have an impact on the game so the test was quite inadequate. At least the civ in general didn't feel too powerful.
I think I was too careful with the power level of the unit, since currently they do very little damage to infantry and die easily even with the combat bonus reduction aura. The idea was to have them work as a cheap and mobile hybrid archer/debuffer, but their damage output is just too low atm. I will reconsider their strength values, maybe increase them to 45-55, that should make them perform pretty much like a mobile machine gun that helps nearby friendly units' combat as well.
Mod looks cool though, am looking forward to using it next time I play the game.
