Playing co-op is fun ^^

Nothing more than enjoyable than to play with someone in raid mode especially Ghost Ship.
Being a newbie
I think it's a little bit overwhelming if you started this bonus game right off the bat after you unlocked it. Back in the day, I tried it and was shocked when I saw many ooze standing there and 3 chunk ooze! I never touched it ever after.
How is this game design?
Raid mode is design for u to play on solo or with partner and to level up, unlock weapons and parts, basically having few RPG elements into it (well, correct me if I'm wrong ^^). Of course you have to unlock each new stages and you need new levels and weapons and parts to survive. This is very hard to do in solo, so luckily the player can choose to have a partner with preferably higher level to make it easy for him to level up. Of course, with very strong partner you can play Ghost Ship and loots some high level weapons which you cant use at the moment until you reach the weapon's level (level 47 and up). There are also weapon parts that help u much on your journey. Also, it would be ideal if you finish the Campaign as it will help you become familiar with the environment.
How I enjoyed Ghost Ship?
Like I mentioned before I was so scared of this bonus game until a friend helped me out and encouraged me to try it. He is level 50 already and guided me almost every inch of the way to reached level 50 myself, along with the help of other players of course. The 1st experience was very exciting. Thanks to him I learned to conquer my fear of playing it especially on solo.

Here are the steps I took to truly enjoy playing Ghost Ship:
1. Let go of the flow. I guess you really need to completely trust your partner and follow everything he say. If he said leave that monster alone you should listen to him. Also, it's okay to be afraid, after all that what makes the journey much more exciting :)

2. Enjoy the loots. This game has horrible RNG that you have to play Ghost Ship many times to get the weapons and parts that you want. For example, I have played no less than 200 GS runs just to finally get the autoloader 4 part which is important in sniper rifle (well, if you dont want to reload or you need to set the weapons in full burst mode).

3. Challenge yourself. By trying to beat Ghost Ship on solo, you can further enjoy playing it. Of course you can just afk while your partner is doing all the hardwork, get all the loots you want, and you will be happy already with it. To each his own, but personally, challenging myself makes me more motivated to play it many times than a typical player will do. It's okay to be killed many times, start over, but at the end of the day, you will achieve what you want to accomplish, and it's worth more than the price you paid for the game. For example, I can't get past of bridge fight coz my weapons are very weak and take time to kill high level monsters. But keep in mind that the purpose of looting Ghost Ship is to get more powerful weapons and parts that you can use to finally beat Ghost Ship on solo. After all, having a partner can make it easy for you, but beating it on solo is the ideal goal for any player I think. Beating Norman finally and Ghost Norman gave me feeling of satisfaction.

4. Ask help from pro players. Luckily, the game's community is very friendly and willing to help. This is probably the game I played with almost no toxicity and no "Im better than you" mentality. Asking help from experienced players can help you progress faster than what would you can do on solo. I always think that to truly enjoy the game you should explore everything to learn the inside and outside of it, not just playing it for the sake of playing it, unless of course, you play for the sole fun only (which is fine and dandy). Do your own research, but keep in mind that even though you can google everything, sometimes answers from real human being is definitely better and you can learn the depth of it than some of ideas coming from a machine like Google :)

5. Ask help from someone to get gluttony 5 for you. In case you are wondering, this part can only be obtained if you do Trinity on Ghost Ship. The requirements are: you are level 50 or below, you kill all monsters, and you took no damage. The first two requirements can be easily done on solo (assuming you have the right weapons and parts, and skills), but the last one is probably the reason you want to seek help from a partner to make you safe and ensure you take no damage. Believe me, once you get the gluttony 5, it's half the battle for a newbie and below average players like me. Of course, you want also to get autoloader 5, and full burst (all can be found randomly on Ghost Ship) to make a perfect combo. Until then, keep playing with a partner until you get those parts and hopefully a decent magnum with at least 4 slots, and you can do solo with no doubt. Some players prefer sniper rifle over magnum but same principle applies, except that autoloader 4 and gluttony 4 can be both found randomly on Ghost Ship (no need for Trinity).

6. Try full Ghost Ship run. There'll be a point where you experience burnout doing non-stop short run for the loots. Doing full run once in a while will make it as new flavor and challenge. I do that once in a while if Im so tired and bored of doing short runs just for the loots. Also, this practice will help you achieve Trinity by yourself as you learn all the possible patterns and techniques. Also, killing all monsters will reward you with 400k BP that you need to purchase weapons and parts.

7. Try use different weapons. One of the reasons this game never dies is because of endless possibilities to challenge yourself. You can try beat Ghost Ship using handguns, machine guns, shotguns, sniper rifle or magnum. You can challenge yourself to do non-gluttony run if you feel expert enough to do it or even level 40 character which I think is very hard. I have a friend who did this and I was so amazed how he did it. Also try every new rare weapons you find interesting.

8. Don't forget to try mods. If you are on PC version it is easy to get mods and that will add to the replayablity of the game. Costume mods and even Ghost Ship Chaos that is only playable on consoles (except 3DS I think?) is now possible thanks to the modders. This additional version of Ghost Ship will give you more interesting loots and more rare weapons.

9. Record your gameplay. You dont have to upload videos like I do, just record it and watch and probably you can learn on what areas you can improve, or simply watch it for your own entertainment if you have free time to do so. Trust me, this is so much enjoyable. Uploading your gameplay will also help you gain feedback that might help you figure out your mistakes.

10. Have some inspiration. Look out at Youtube gameplays, meet some players, and watch how they play. This really adds to my enjoyment of the game as I like to be like them or play like them someday. Like I mentioned in other games I played, being a fan of someone can make you more motivated and will give you direction in your gaming. Of course this is one of the games that I almost treated like a career. lol

11. Have fun and experiment with your friend. Maybe try different routes, divide chores, or try non-gluttony run together or maybe enjoy the bugs you encountered XD

12. Continue the chain of help. Finally, once you received so much help from others it's time to help other players to level up. At the end of the day, this is one of the purpose of co-op play, to help one another, because two are always better than one. Like the quote from another fellow who left a comment on my profile: "What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?" :D

I reached L 50 about a month ago and Ghost Ship is 1 of the 2 remaining achievements that are left for me.
I'm trying with a friend of mine for WEEKS now .. we always end up loosing in the end cause we both are always out of ammo.
I'm using the knife for most part of ghost ship (i always play as Rachel)

I'll try to read more carefully this guide n try again cause i'm about to give up with this 2 achievements left.

Nice writing! I saw many videos you posted. You are really enjoying this game at all. Thank you for your messages. I am good. I was quite busy recently in my job so that I did not come up here for a long time. I am sure you are well and a pro player in this game now.
