Richard Gears, its been awhile since I played the game so I had to reinstall and play up to that puzzle. You should get a piece of paper from the Safe Puzzle in the guard room which gives you a number value to each letter. You then have to add up the number values for each of the residents' names that are above their cells, and if the number value of their name added up is less than 9, then you flip the switch up(as indicated by the up arrow).

Thank you!

I'm confused as to how you got the answer for the breaker box puzzle for the cells in the guard booth. How'd you come up with the answer for that?
Doodlewurst 13 Jan, 2023 @ 2:29pm
@LuciferEst, specifically, the position rule applies to each knob relative to the triplet group that it's in. So, for example, the first blue is in position one of group one, the second blue is in position two of the first group, and the third blue is in position one of the third group. And so the rules will be: first blue knob = position 1 + blue rule; second blue knob = position 2 + blue rule; third blue knob = position 1 + blue rule.

@LuciferEst you apply a position rule (black/left side) and a color (right side) to each knob, so for the first knob, you aply both the first position restrictions and the blue restrictions

I don't understand the test tube puzzle with the knobs.. why is that the answer? does the orange clue not count?

@Leb (or someone else with the same question) For the Corridor keypad puzzle, the logic for each letter is below (these are answers, not hints):
W: From left to right, top to bottom, numbers are sequential (wrapping from 9 to 0)
X: The number in the gray box is the sum of the other three numbers
Y: In each box, both pairs of numbers sum to the same total
Z: The numbers in each box total to 9

@Sayomikoneko
You have to look at the numbers and other things above the numpad. You see that each part exists of multiple lines ( 7 is made from a top horizontal line, 2 vertical lines on the right and 1 vertical line on the left. 3 is made from 3 horizontal lines and 2 vertical lines. A minus sign "-" and an equal sign "=" also consist of lines

more explained: the minus sign would equal to 1, the equal sign would equal to 2, 3 would equal to 5..... How many digits do you have to enter in the numpad? Can you link that to what's above it?
Sayomikoneko 1 May, 2022 @ 12:21pm
the guard door puzzle, 74-23=3, how exactly do you get the answer? I know you said you need to count the numbers in the lines of the code but I don't understand what you mean by that
