The goal of the project is to restorate the vanilla version of the game.

Preliminary information: Textures for all Dawn of War add-ons will be made, textures will be compatible with multiplayer, as well as for unique objects from the campaign. All textures will retain the style of the original. Textures will be made for all units / environment / interface, including unique objects from campaigns of all official addons.
Attention: some icons during the creation process and after the release can be modified.

In development: icon memory size reduction
В разработке: уменьшение размера иконок на диске

- All unit / abilities / research icons are finished for factions: Command icons, Eldar, Space Marines, Orks, Chaos, Imperial Guard, Necrons, Tau, Dark Eldar, Sisters of Battle, Command icons. As well as the textures of lanscape and environment objects.

- Готовы все иконки юнитов/способностей/исследований для фракций: Командные иконки, Эльдары, Космодесант, Орки, Хаос, Имперская Гвардия, Некроны, Тау, Темные Эльдары, Сестры Битвы, Командные иконки.
А также текстуры объектов окружения и ландшафта.

Now icons will be made using 3d max and high resolution textures. Icons will be made as high resolution textures are integrated for units.
Теперь иконки будут делаться при помощи 3d max и текстур высокого разрешения. Иконки будут делаться по мере интеграции текстур высокого разрешения для юнитов.

What I would like to see in my assembly: maybe it will be added, maybe not, time will tell, and how actively the community will support my work.

- Replace the Necron Pariahs with the Guardian Lich.
- Replace the ghost lord with the ghost lord from DoW 2 (I never liked him, some kind of dumb frog)
- Replace music with music from DoW 2. Yes, yes, Ultimate Apocalypsis already has this, but it is implemented very poorly, not the way I want it.
- Special effects from DoW 2
- Add a short description of units from the lore, for example, who are the Space Marines, in a nutshell.
- To make a more accurate description of the characteristics of units: the speed of regeneration, resistance to various types of damage, the power of knockback - that's all.

То что я бы хотел видеть в своей сборке: возможно будет добавлено, возможно нет, покажет время, и то, насколько активно сообщество будет поддерживать мою работу.

- Заменить парий некронов на лич стражей.
- Заменить призрачного лорда на призрачного лорда из DoW 2 (он мне никогда не нравился, стрёмная лягушка какая то)
- Заменить музыку на музыку из DoW 2. Да да, в Ultimate Apocalypsis такое уже есть, но это реализовано очень некачественно, не так, как я хочу.
- Спецэффекты из DoW 2
- Добавить краткое описание юнитов из лора, например, кто такие космодесантники, в двух словах.
- Сделать более точное описание характеристик юнитов: скорость регенерации, сопротивляемость различным видам урона, сила отбрасывания - вот это всё.
- Озвучка на русском языке юнитов из DoW 2, потому что в Soulstorm - это полный отстой. Некоторые реплики надо перенести из Dark Crusade.

После установки иконок игра может сохраняться очень долго, минут 15, не делайте ничего во время этого процесса. Будет исправлено вместе с уменьшением размера иконок на диске.

у меня при скачивании какого то файла менюшка соулсторма превратилась в 1 дов
можно как-то обратно вернуть?

Из таких "тупых" способов поставить иконки в Definitive edition:
в папке Dawn of War Definitive Edition\DXP3 создайте репозиторий Data\art\ui\ingame в ingame положите свои папки с иконками (все или отдельно какие хотите), при запуске игра подцепит именно их

Подскажите, пожалуйста. У меня после установки архива "v1.2 Original Dawn of War GOLD HD interface for Soulstorm (taskbars/loadscreens/GOLD interface/campaign interface)" в главном меню пропали текстуры юнита космодесанта. Теперь просто стоит космодес весь розовый. Кто-то сталкивался с таким? Как фиксить?

товарищи, можете, пожалуйста, мне, дебичу, пояснить, что и в какие папки кидать? скачал rar файлы all icons soulstorm, русификатор, фикс русского шрифта и hd environment and landscape, но так и не понял как это в игру теперь пихнуть чтобы работало
