[RWI] - Defender-class Frigate MKii

Hi everyone,
Making new series, such as Space Engineers: Frontier which is coming soon, means I find myself having to update various parts of the RWI Fleet, which has become outdated overtime due to the advancements of the core mechanics and styles of Space Engineers.

The Defender-class MKii is the same type people have seen for some time now, this version is just an updated version of the olderstyle. The ship is essentially the same, but takes the place of the older one we have seen on screen and in-game before.

As a *reminder*These RWI ships are made for cinematic and RP content, therefore do not expect them to fully work in Survival-gameplay environments.

The RWI Defender-class is highly regarded as an iconic and legendary starship class from Red Wood Industries. This Defense Frigate is well known for its role in “The Great War”, and how it helped turn the tide of many battles on many Frontiers.

With the modern age, a modern ship was needed. RWI Engineers stripped back the original Defender and refitted it into the Defender-class MKii. A new super-structure, redesigned interior and more efficient weapon implacements means this frigate is ready for any engagement.

The upgrades to the Defender-class keep the same general shape and style of the original design but improve on it via what has been mentioned above. Overall the Defender-class Mk-ii is expected to replace all remaining Defender-class MKi’s within 1-3 years, but with the outbreak of “The Shadow War”, this may take longer than anticipated.
