𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐢𝐫𝐨 - Tanjiro Kamado (Kamado Tanjiro) is the main protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a member of Kanoe of the Demon Hunters, who joined the organization to hunt down the person responsible for the murder of his family and the transformation of his sister, Nezuko Kamado, into a demon, while also looking for a cure for her.
Tanjiro is kind by nature and has been described by others as having very kind eyes. He shows a lot of determination and does not give up when he has an objective to achieve; the best example of this is his relentless quest to find a cure for Nezuko. Although he is relatively strong on his own, Tanjiro does not object to asking others for help when he needs it. He is very protective of his friends and even more so with his younger sister. However, despite his kind and understanding nature, Tanjiro has a limit to his tolerance and hates rudeness and cowardice, as he easily gets irritated by Zenitsu Agatsuma's constant groan and irritated by Inosuke Hashibira's barbaric actions.
