INFORMAL

'' Xin chào, tôi là (insert your own name). Rất vui được làm quen với bạn ''

For those who dont know the vowels. When you spell, it should be sounding like this.

'' Sin chaav, toy la (your name). Zat vui duyk lem quen voi baen ''

It will sound like you are on drugs or have some issues but no Vietnamese will pull you from your collar and spell check you. Even if you f*ck it up, it will at least sound like some absurd sh*t rather than an insult. (F*cking up tremendously may get the sh*t kicked out of you)

Xin chào--------------------------------- hello
Tôi là------------------------------------- i am ( as in your name )
Rất vui----------------------------------- i am very happy
được làm quen với bạn-------------- to get to know you





FORMAL

'' Xin chào. Tôi tên là ( your name ). Rất hân hạnh được làm quen với bạn ''

Spelling should be sounding like this.

'' Sin chaav, toy te la ( your name ). Zat han hay duyk lem quen voi baen ''

The difference between these formal and informal is simple.

Tôi tên là-------------------------------------------- my name is ( your name )
Rất hân hạnh được làm quen với bạn------- its my pleasure to get to know you
