Thank you I think all it would need is a few solar panels and more batteries on the station connected to the gate to keep the power running

This mod may be a little outdated. will try to take a look.

SuperGate spawns in with no power and is drifting though space. is there a way to re power these and stop the drifting ? as you can't build or grind down anything on the attached stations.
