How To Change The Intro Video

This guide shows you the relevant steps to customising the intro "detatch" and "scribble it!" vidoes.
You can choose any video file to replace the default ones.

Guide Index

Overview

Find in library and select properties.

Locate local files

ScribbleIt folder

Content folder

Movies

2 mp4 files

Select your video

Renaming files

Launch the game

Comments

Find in library and select properties.

Navigate your steam library until you find Scribble It.
Then right click on its title to make this tile appear

Click properties.

Locate local files

After clicking, this tile will appear -

Click on "local files" on the left of the window.
Then press "browse" at the top.

ScribbleIt folder

File explorer will now appear
Navigate to the "ScribbleIt" FOLDER

Content folder

2 Folders will appear
Click on the one ladled "content"

Movies

You will be met with 4 folders
Select the one labelled "movies"

2 mp4 files

2 mp4 files will be present

Select your video

Open another file explorer and locate the video you want to use

Then right click and copy the video.
Now drag this file into the previously opened "Movies" folder.

Renaming files

Select one of the 2 original files and copy their name

You should rename this original file so you don't lose it e.g. "Detatch1"

Then copy the name onto one of your custom videos.
Your file should look something like this.
