Editing of the poster
So you loaded a map, found a place and posed your character. What you should do next?

At 1st I'd find better spot for my medic then this and also fill in the background with some props or characters

Next ill add medibeam particle and add a light(ive made it a little bit blue and also i added volumetrics, to turn on it m2 on light and Enable Volumetrics) which will simulate the map light. (If you want to make night on the map then just decrease the toneMapScale)

After I decided to add some rain particle and also blur to highlight the medic

The last thing i add is 2nd light and the poster is done

Heres the result

Theres a view of how it started and how it ended

or.. just learn the basics of photoshop then slowly learn advance things time-to-time.

i agree with Snowdrift, this doesn't apply to very many posters, adding rain, some background props and a huge volumetric light isn't always the best fit

Very short and concise, with plenty of examples. But it seems like its a guide to HOW to make a (specific) poster rather than making one BETTER.
