While y'all are probably expecting a sh*tpost, I'm not actually doing that, this is legitimate tips about in-game movement and how to utilize its little quirks, as well as a small tip on hitboxes. So here we go.



-Firstly, use a controller, as it'll allow for some more versatility in the angles you move at. No matter what, you'll tend to move at a normal speed unless you go over stuff like the pink slime in The Golem Dungeon.

-Take full advantage of dodge rolls. They provide a precious thing called invincibility frames, which can really save your ass.

-When you have to jump a gap, you may find yourself seeming to fall even though it looks like you're over the ground. To avoid this, run up to the edge and roll AFTER you see your character do his wobbling animation.

-Roll straight through enemies to make a quick escape. One even has to be stunned with this method.



Now this last bit isn't movement, but melee hitboxes are big enough that you can hit enemies through one layer of obstacles.
