Maple Tree
A Maple Tree is a common Tree that grows from a Maple Seed. It yields Maple Syrup every 9 days when tapped. It can be chopped down with an axe, producing Wood, Sap, possible Maple Seeds, and possible Hardwood (if the player is a Lumberjack). Normally, shaking a Maple Tree has a chance of producing a Maple Seed, but during the last two weeks of Fall, a Hazelnut is dropped instead.
Oak Tree
An Oak Tree is a common Tree that grows from an Acorn. It yields Oak Resin every 7-8 days when tapped. It can be chopped down with an axe, producing Wood, Sap, possible Acorns, and possible Hardwood (if the player is a Lumberjack).
Pine Tree
A Pine Tree is a common Tree that grows from a Pine Cone. It yields Pine Tar every 5-6 days when tapped. It can be chopped down with an axe, producing Wood, Sap, possible Pine Cones, and possible Hardwood (if the player is a Lumberjack).
Mahogany Tree
A Mahogany Tree is a common tree that grows from a Mahogany Seed. It yields Sap every day when tapped. It can be chopped down with an axe, producing 10 Hardwood.

Unlike other fertilized tree seeds that have a 100% chance of growing to the next stage, Mahogany Seeds fertilized with Tree Fertilizer have a 60% chance of growing to the next stage. Unfertilized seeds have a 15% chance of growing to the next stage.
Mushroom Tree
A Mushroom Tree is a tree that spawns according to a rare event in Fall. It can be chopped down using an axe and will drop 5-6 Red or Purple Mushrooms (plus one for the stem). It does not yield seeds when shaken or chopped down, but it will spread seeds like a common tree. If unobstructed, seeds spread by a Mushroom Tree have a 20% chance to grow to the next stage each day during Spring, Summer, or Fall. During Winter, Mushroom Tree seeds/saplings do not grow, and fully-grown Mushroom Trees will be reduced to a stump. Like common trees, the stump may spread seeds to the surrounding area. If hit by lightning, a Mushroom Tree will be reduced to a stump, leaving mushrooms behind, in the same way that common trees leave wood/sap. The following Spring, the stump will regrow to a full tree.
Palm Tree
A Palm Tree is a type of Tree only found in the Calico Desert. It does not drop any seeds, so it cannot be planted elsewhere. It can be chopped down, and may drop a Coconut when shaken or chopped down. After being chopped down, a Palm Tree has approximately a 20% chance to grow to the next stage each day.
Apricot Tree
The Apricot Tree is a type of fruit tree. It takes 28 days to grow to maturity, after which it will produce one Apricot each day during the Spring. It can only grow in the center of a 3x3 square, each square of which must be kept completely clear of objects, flooring, and terrain features (including grass). The 3x3 grid must not overlap the 3x3 grid of another Fruit Tree.

For each full year after maturing, fruit trees will produce higher quality fruit, up to iridium star quality after three years. Note that the 3x3 square around the tree doesn't have to be kept clear once the tree has fully grown.

If struck by lightning during a storm, the tree will produce Coal for 4 days instead of fruit.

Fruit trees can be planted in the Greenhouse.
Cherry Tree
The Cherry Tree is a type of fruit tree. It takes 28 days to grow to maturity, after which it will produce one Cherry each day during the Spring.

Banana Tree
The Banana Tree is a type of fruit tree. It can be purchased at the Island Trader for 5 Dragon Teeth, or found in a Golden Coconut when broken. It takes 28 days to grow to maturity, after which it will produce one Banana each day during the Summer in Stardew Valley or year-round on Ginger Island.

It takes 28 days to grow to maturity, after which it will produce one Mango each day during the Summer in Stardew Valley or year-round on Ginger Island. It can only grow in the center of a 3x3 square, each square of which must be kept completely clear of objects, flooring, and terrain features (including grass). The 3x3 grid must not overlap the 3x3 grid of another Fruit Tree.

It can only grow in the center of a 3x3 square, each square of which must be kept completely clear of objects, flooring, and terrain features (including grass). The 3x3 grid must not overlap the 3x3 grid of another Fruit Tree.
Peach Tree

It can only grow in the center of a 3x3 square, each square of which must be kept completely clear of objects, flooring, and terrain features (including grass). The 3x3 grid must not overlap the 3x3 grid of another Fruit Tree.

It can only grow in the center of a 3x3 square, each square of which must be kept completely clear of objects, flooring, and terrain features (including grass). The 3x3 grid must not overlap the 3x3 grid of another Fruit Tree.
Pomegranate Tree
The Pomegranate Tree is a type of fruit tree. It takes 28 days to grow to maturity, after which it will produce one Pomegranate each day during the Fall. It can only grow in the center of a 3x3 square, each square of which must be kept completely clear of objects, flooring, and terrain features (including grass). The 3x3 grid must not overlap the 3x3 grid of another Fruit Tree.
Planting The Trees
If you intend to plant fruit trees to the east of the Greenhouse on the Standard Farm map, take extra care to plan your layout. To the north of the Greenhouse there is one row of tiles, directly south of the rockface, that is darker-colored and untillable, but can be used as a walkway. The second row is ordinary tillable farmland. The Greenhouse sits atop the third row of tiles.

To the east of the Greenhouse, two columns of tiles have grass and are untillable, and the third is ordinary tillable farmland, directly south of the cave entrance. In the fourth column east of the Greenhouse, and the third row south of the rockface then, you would expect to be able to plant a fruit tree, according to the normal spacing rules. However, the game refuses to allow a fruit tree planting on the particular tile at their intersection. Either of the tiles to the east or south of this one are allowable. (Ordinary trees can be planted on that tile.)

Remember that once planted, a fruit tree cannot be removed except by cutting it down, destroying it and sacrificing the investment.

The most difficult to tell apart is oak and maple, but oak always has more leaves. In winter the oak and maple are basically impossible to tell apart though... :)

Thanks for the feedback! And an easy way to tell maple from oak is the shape of their leaves. Maple leaves are broader and oak leaves are slimmer! :luv:
