How To Fix The Slow Motion Problem. (Outdated but can help somewhat)

If your game is running very slow just do the following Steps

Step 1 : Go to C:\Users\owner\Documents\My Games\Capcom\RE4

Step 2 : Click the file that says config

Step 3 : Where it says variable framerate, Change the number to a 20 fps or lower ( Recommend 20 fps )

Step 4 : Start up the game

There you have it, For any Question please ask in the comment section. WARNING If you go to the video settings, There is a chance that it may crash

This does seem reliable, but every time I go to This PC, the File Explorer hangs. I did figure out how to fix it, but it won't stop doing the same thing over and over.

Thank you so much! I've had this game for a year and just now found your fix. it worked <3 <3 <3 now I just have to figure out how to get the camera to turn without using A & D keys

The config file didn't show up for me until I booted the game up for the first time. All I had to do was boot up, establish a save file, then quit out from the main menu.

The file config.ini doesnt exist... there is a file config but it does not contain ONE of the specifics that your printscreen shows, would you help me?
i did try to creat a config file by myself but it did not work

Thanks :) Someone before told put fps to 0...but that caused the fucking granate-bug.
I use 30 fps, that's perfect also.

Capcom should be ashamed not fixing that shit by themselves,
just for the reason these days it is only possible to get the game via steam.
cause fucking modern Laptop are not with a possibilty to play dvd/discs

I'm playing on my notebook and it has a dedicated gpu, but for some reason the game insists on playing on the Intel Hd card, does someone know what to do in this case or had a similar problem?
