Thomas, I spent many hours sitting at your side, I don't think you even realised (I was sitting with you while I wrote this) maybe in another life we could have been more than just two rocks staring at the sun in a canyon.

I spent about 10 hours on this puzzle.

3 hours were spent with friends on stream trying to figure it out with various methods using ciphers and various code breaking methods. A couple of attempts to contact the developer and many half arsed attempts to find any form of clue within the social media of this game/the developer or any of the people I suspected had completed the puzzle.

secure your online identities people, it's not too difficult

another 3 hours were spent trying to decompile the game with Unreal Engine and a plethora of tools.

I can safely say that I have looked at every single texture in Canyon and know it better than my own ♥♥♥♥.

The last 2 hours were when I woke up at 2 in the morning, and thought about something the dev said, "made the canyon easier". How? that would mean that something was changed, that would mean that there was another hint out there, and sure enough there was. There are two screen shots of the level prior to the update, that was where I understood it.
