I'd say take a look through what ever Ikora gave you, make sure you read the entire objective and try that. Going by memory i believe that those subclass quests do take a bit of time to do, one of my friends has been doing them.

i think i have to do solar domage and get xp and kill with solar stuff but im not rellly sure

For that i'm not 100% sure, does your quest say anything other than speaking to Ikora?

but i have one small question i want to get the solar subclass on titan. it say i need to speak to ikora ray which i did but theres this quest thing called stoking the flame how do i complete this quest.
