I recently watched The Score Esports video about Zipel, and i got inspired to make a guide. Hopefully this will reach the right people and will be able to avoid these scams and losing their skins in the future.

« How to Search & Get Someone's SteamID64

  1. Go to user's profile.
  2. Right click, then click Copy Page URL.

These group of people copied Steamtrades and made their own version of the site. And gave themselves fake positive reps to give you false sense of security.

They will also use their fake site to give bad rep to trusted traders and other scammers that are not in their circle.

« How to Spot Fake Steam & FB Group

1. Spotting A Fake Steam Group:
You can check if a steam group is boosted by looking at its members. Almost every member in that group is following 80+ groups.

2. Spotting A Fake Facebook Group:
Same as spotting a fake steam group. If you scroll down under the panel "About This Group" you can see the members of the group. You can hover your mouse to check the profile of its members, almost everyone is from the same city.

Now, let's play a game called Spot The Difference:
Conclusion:
  • Same private group
  • Same "Group Rules"
  • Same boosted group used by scammers to trick you.
• Fake Facebook Trading Group
The title says it all. They pretend to be an admin of a very obvious boosted facebook trading group.

These people made fake and boosted social media accounts, and probably took another person's photos. You might think that you're safe cause you can see his face on his social media. Don't trust these people listed below or other similar methods.

@Turtle you have no proof that they are fit in this guide. noted but deleted. once you have proofs that they use one of the methods mentioned above then they will be added right away just like the last time you requested a scammer to be added in this guide which was done already. thank you
