How to beat this game (It's Easy) - By a Professional
Bởi burgers
Tired of getting rekt by Heckers, Russian Boi and ass-hat? This guide is for you!

As a professional of this game, I can assure you that compared to it's sequel, it's much more simple to beat. In fact, it can be beaten simply in a couple of days with some practice!

Also, I have all of the answers for "Gatekeeper" here!

-Update (February 18, 2023)-
Hello again, everyone! I know I have been very inactive on this guide, but I most definitely appreciate the favs and support you've given me. You have helped reach this guide to 4 stars on steam at 28 ratings from my current status at the moment, and I'm glad to have been help to many people who still touch and re-play the game to this day! As of right now, I have barely tapped a "Waiting Room" or "Welcome To THE GAME 2" guide unfortauntely, so I'm not expecting myself to get into those any time soon. But if I do, rest assured that I will give it as much quality, love, detail, and care as I have this one. For now though, I give my biggest gratitude to you guys for helping this guide make it's big step!

Also, I will still promote Nasko222's dicord even though he isn't a moderator or editor involved with this. He is an awesome Welcome To THE GAME player/modder I know with even more underrated modders that I think deserve lots of attention. For those who don't know of his mods, he has made a small expansion to "Welcome To THE GAME 2" called "Welcome To THE GAME 2 PLUS" and other mods for fun. Insym once played a mod called "The Waiting Room: Cat Mode" if you want an example. Please consider joining and supporting them if you are interested. Unless you want "Liver Stealer" to steal yo liver again of course, then that's also an option. LuLLuL

nasko222's Discord Server[discord.gg]

Thank you all again! (P.S, I'm serious about Liver Stealer/Uncle Kidney. You better get in that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ discord server.)

Here are extra links/guidance names to the discord since I am an idiot and forgot Discord deletes server links:

Name of Discord Server: WTTG2+ Official

Nasko's YouTube Ask him if you want to join the Discord from there if you can't get to the Discord and I forget to replace the link.
The "Win" Strategy: Step 1
Step 1. For the 1st Step, it is not required, but it's better to obtain all of the wikis NOW instead of later.

Keeping a look-out for enemies will become a hassle when you try to explore the deep web. At some point eventually, you'll run out of pages on your current wiki to search through, which means you WIll have to eventually find a new one in order to progress.

There are 3 total wikis to find. Deep Wiki 1 is given to you for free. And then Deep Wiki 2 and 3's links can be found on each of the wikis hub site.

Deep Wiki 2's hub site is and ALWAYS Chosen Awake. I am unaware of how it originally worked before in the 1.0 version, but I can tell you that they changed it on this version and I believe it is easier than the last one.

To get Deep Wiki 2, you need to highlight a couple different shapes and images all in one go before the Wiki link will appear. You have to trial and error with each icon until it highlights. Once you've found it, you need to memorize it and then remember it incase you fail on the next one. It's rinse and repeat over and over again. And once you finally high-light all of them, Deep Wiki 2 will appear at the bottom of the page.

Chosen Awake's only changes are to it's original click-points and that is all. Below are images show-casing the new click points:

(Due to Steams awkward displaying with pictures, you may have to download this picture here yourself if you have difficulty viewing the text/pictures. You can do this by copying the address link and then pasting it into your browser. You can then save the image from there.)

Once you have the link, copy and paste it into your notes.

Now on to the final Wiki. Deep Wiki 3's site is Claffis. Quick Tip: If you are color-blind like me, then have fun ♥♥♥♥♥ cause you're gonna ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cry for real. Claffis is another memory mini-game where you have to click on all of the lit-up notes in order to get the link. Now, there are a couple of ways you could solve this mini-game.

1. Be a lazy ass and just record with OBS, lul. (For real tho, I'm not blaming anyone who does that. I'm not a good memorizer myself.)

2. You will notice that with each key that plays on a specific note, it also plays in a different key pitch. So you could try to focus on clicking them not by sight, but by sound instead.

3. And finally, the hardest way. Trying to actually do this by seeing where the notes light up. Each note lights up red. It fades in and out very quickly, so you have to look around very fast when it plays, otherwise you'll most likely ♥♥♥♥ up. If you can actually do this, then you are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOD and you've earned my respect. But for those who struggle, I would make use of the notes tab to jot down the order of the notes that played.

That's really all the advice I can give you for Claffis. But one more thing. Since the website shows a BUNCH of musical notes on the screen, I want to assure people by saying that not EVERY note lights up. Each of them are split up into 12 different quadrants, and only ONE note lights up for each of them. So no, you do NOT need to memorize where EXACTLY the note is, because it doesn't matter where it is in the quadrant. It's which quadrant the note is lighting up in which is important.

Once you finally complete the puzzle, you'll have all of the 3 wikis in your grasp and you can swap between them at any point!

And with that out of the way, you can also focus more on keeping the hobos out of your house now. There is one consequence to getting all the wikis first however. I don't really know if finding keys affect the difficulty of the hacks too, but all I can say is that if you choose to do this step 1st, be prepared to go full 1337. The hacks will immediately try to get harder when you have all 3 wikis. This won't really matter so much if you're using the Key Cue to find Keys. But otherwise, you have been warned, if you do try to do this without Key Cue, you're in for some journey, and some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

(More information on the secret Key Cue can be seen in the "Additional Tips"!)

Another Tip: ALWAYS refresh the modem with every safe chance you get! It won't cool down the difficulty of the hacks, but it will save you a lot!
The "Win" Strategy: Step 2
Step 2. Complete the final puzzle website, the Gatekeeper.

This is your I.Q test. Gatekeeper will give you questions with a list of 4 answers to each question and test whether or not you've actually explored and have read the websites. All of the website's text doesn't change, and the answers don't change either. So down below this Steam Guide, if you're too lazy to find the answers to the questions yourself, you can use the answer list to help out for each question. This is the last website you need to pass in order to get the final key for the Red Room, Key #8. And the best part is, you can get this key very early and it won't affect the killers!

(You can see what I mean in "Additional Tips".)
The "Win" Strategy: Step 3
Step 3. Beat the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game already.

From here, everything is pretty straight-forward. To beat the game normally, all you have to do is paste all of the Keys you found in order, turn it into a .ann link and paste it into your browser. The Red Room page will pop up. I've never clicked Leave before so I don't actually know what it does, but unless you want to ship your life hours down a well, clicking Enter is advised. :)

You can then watch the 1st ending to the game. REDRUM, as master of typos, Adam spells his own ending.

(Adam isn't just the Tutorial guy, but the developer of the game if you didn't know.)

Now you might be loosing your ♥♥♥♥ right now and saying, "WWWWWWWHHHHHHHHAAAAAATTTTTT?!?!?!" YES. There are 3 endings to this game. 2 of them are unfortuantly teaser endings to another Reflect Studios game that we haven't heard from
since yet. Still, Steam achievements exist. So bring it on game.

This is how to get the 2nd ending, WHEREAMI.

First, copy this link for the game I've got down below here:

http://43eb90937b34e13b35e78f518f19f468.ann

Second, to explain why you have to do this. Back in the day, Adam challenged the famous youtubers like 8-Bitryan, Riskrim, Razzbowski, etc to some challenge to beat the game or something. I forget how this goes, but I believe it's based around the Illuminati website where you can find another page to a website image of a box. This box was found by a player of the game and shown on Twitter showing the link to the secret website above and they were even rewarded with a Steam gift card too I think. And this is where the link comes into play. With the link now acquired, the player must find all 8 keys normally like in the normal game, but then paste all of them into the website found. The website will have a spot for the keys to be pasted. And once the full key is finally complete, the players will be sent to the secret ending.

And now to discuss. Many people I've seen have had a lot of trouble with getting past this one sequence to see the full ending sequence. I don't exactly know how it works, but I think I have an idea on how to make it past this bit. There's gonna be some spoilers here though, so I'm gonna censor them with the spoiler icon.

So to escape from the Executioner's chair, the game says you need to mash the Left Mouse button to escape. However, nothing really happens when you're doing so. I'm not 100% sure if this is the solution, but I think there's a second input the game wants registered in order to escape. Aside from mashing the mouse, I think you also need to move the mouse itself in a way while mashing. If you hear the leather straps making sounds while you do this, then you are on the right track and you should keep doing what you're doing until you succeed. And that's really how you do it. Once you get up from the chair and exit through the door, you can see the rest of the ending for yourself.

(Or google it, lol. It's not like Rides with Strangers is getting done anytime soon.)

And for the final 3rd ending, WHOAMI, there are no links involved with this one. Instead you have to find 4 secret notes. I've been holding back on using this term cause of worries from Steam and also because it's too damn funny, but I will say it now. These are quite literally pOrN notes. They don't have porn content in them, but they can be found on porn related websites in this game. NOT real life terms I'm using here. Just want to point that out Steam Managers. :) LuL. Let me rewrite that tho. These PORN notes are actually just mostly blank notes that show you some numbers that show you the order in which you're supposed to find the notes. Then the final note will have a message from Adam, mentioning something along the lines of "Don't you have a red room to find?" or something like that. There are 4 notes in total that can be found on 4 of the sites below. They can be found similarly in the same way you do with actual keys. But when you find them, they play a different jingle noise instead and have some number values in them.

The Noise[drive.google.com]

The locations for all the click spots for the notes:
-NudeYouTubers
-Grandma's Fantasy
-Greet My Sisters
-Testical Mutilation

(These pictures aren't final by the way and may be updated as I go along working on more pictures.)

Once you have all of them, all you simply have to do is beat the game like normal and then beat the game through the normal Red Room page. Click Enter to watch the Red Room, but instead of the REDRUM ending, it'll play out in a different sequence.
.
And that's how you die in this game. #YOURWELCOME:) Now let's move onto the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and their sound cues.
How to avoid dying from THESE ♥♥♥♥♥ - Part 1: The Liver-Stealer
Let's start off with "The Breather". AKA, liver-stealer.

This ♥♥♥♥-head was added in the 2.0 patch for this game that also added in the other new stuff. If there's one killer people have died at the most, I can definitely say that it's him. There are some people that actually want to play the game without Breather and just the Kidnapper now. Honestely, I can't argue with that. Having this new killer in the game is both a blessing and a curse as he can be quite a turd. The only real way to consistently counter him is by listening. This is the same way you dealt with the Kidnapper before in 1.0 and still do now. But unlike Kidnapper, Breather's audio cues are far quieter than his.

First before we get to talking about his cues though, let's debunk some theories on him first.

The main theory that his calls actually mean something are absolutely false. And if you argue otherwise with any of the information I'm about to give you, I can assure that the advice you got this from is from a person who's never played the game and is simply giving you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Breather works around a timer or something like that that when expires chooses between whether to unleash the Breather or throw a phone call at the player. Outside of this timer are specifications for Breather depending on how many keys the player has. These specifications make the time until Breather calls/Breather's spawn completely randomized. And during all of these events, none of them EVER throw a threat call at you indicating the Breather is about to spawn and attack you. These are simple hoaxes meant to throw the player in a loop. If the player has no keys or 1-2 keys, the Breather will breath into the phone only. He will never speak. It's only until you get 3-8 keys that Breather starts threatening you with his fanfiction poems. There is absolutely no way to differentiate in his voice whether or not he could be closer to you. It could be possible to try and count how many times he calls for each key level and then just assume he'll be at your house soon, but I wouldn't rely on it. It's absolutely useless and simply distracting. Especially since all you have to do is simply listen and then react. And then the problem is easily solved.

Another theory, even though I've barely seen it get thrown around could be that the Breather's Window jumpscare could actually mean he's attacking you. First, if you ever came up with that assumption from just browsing youtube videos without thought, remember that this is a Twitch Integration thing only. It happens when the game gives the viewers the option to activate a "Spooky Poll" that causes either 2 jumpscares or the lights to go out (I think for the 3rd one).
And no, even though Breather shows up at the window and looks like he's walking to your front door after he walks away, this does NOT mean he's gonna instantly try to get inside. It's just a random thing that's supposed to scare the player.

With that finally out of the way, let's talk about his cues.

Breather Audio Cues[drive.google.com]

(Here is a link to the audio files for Breather's cues. These aren't actually the in-game files but they are edited to train you guys to listen for him. Cause in reality, Breather's cues are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quiet, that you literally have to max out your volume to have even a good chance of hearing them. This seems to be a driver thing only, but just incase you want to absolutely max out your volume even higher without blowing out your ears, you could activate Loudness Equalization in Windows settings. Again, it appears to be a driver type issue because compared to mine, Nasko doesn't have what I have. So if you have it, use it to your own leverage! Otherwise, clean the cobwebs from your ears and get to keening your hearing, pronto!)

There are 3 sound cues in total. The 1st one is the most common one many people know of. Some people refer to this as the Breather getting out from a car and approaching the door. Here's the confusing part tho. We're gonna take a step away from game terms for a second so that I can rant. My rant isn't the fact that the name of the audio cue file is actually "DoorBangKnock", no. And yes, that is the actual name of the file. So it's possibly not a cardoor but our actual front door that's being banged on. The other 2 files are named "DoorHandle1" and "DoorHandle4". Both of them are squeaks that come from the door-knob on the front door. "DoorHandle1" is a high squeak, while "DoorHandle4" is squeaky, but much quieter than "DoorHandle1". Here's where my rant comes in. These sounds are all coming from the door itself. Yet when you go to look outside and the Breather is there, he seems to be only JUST arriving to the door. Sooooo, what exactly is happening here? Is he trying to lure us out to make sure someone's home? Then again, he COULD just unlock the door and check for himself like he seems to be doing when he breaks in. So what's even the point of trying to lure us out if he's trying to be stealthy? The door is LITERALLY his only way inside and all he's doing is allowing himself to lose to the other person on the other side, lul. When you look at this in a certain way, it all starts to really not make ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense. XD Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my pointless rant over the Breather. Please comment below your conterversial opinions. (Do NOT. Seriously. This is just for jokes.)

Back to the subject. Once you hear one of these cues randomly play, you have a limited amount of time to react. If you think you heard one of his cues, check the front door immediately. You will hear breathing by the time you get to the door if he IS there. Also, the game should lock you out from leaving the door when he's attacking. So no need to look out the window on the door unless you wish to see him walk up to it. Once he's at the door, you have 2 options to choose from on how to react. You DEFINITELY have to hold the door the 1st time he trys unlocking it, otherwise he'll get in and take your liver. But after his 1st attempt, you can either continue holding the door knob until he eventually gives up and leaves, or you can reveal your ugly mug to him and trigger him. Looking at him through the window until he finally stops being blind and looks up or speaking into the microphone will both trigger him. And depending on what gave your position away, he will either say "I can see you in there!" or "I can hear you in there!". (Friendly reminder: This game picks up on your microphone audio, so be careful when it comes to evading the killers.)

Once this happens, you must prepare yourself for Left-Mouse Button Mashing. A "BRACE YOURSELF" window will appear indicating you must mash. You must register enough clicks during the prompt until it disappears. Once it does, this means that he's given up and will leave.
How to avoid dying from THESE ♥♥♥♥♥ - Part 2: Russian Guy who be climbin your windows
Now we will move onto to that Russian guy who won't take a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hint.

Luckily, he is not as aggressive and hard as Breather. Kidnapper may have gone through some 2.0 update treatment on how he spawns, but it hasn't changed anything about his cues. Unfortauntely though compared to 1.0, his jumpscare line "Hey, kid." was removed because it actually translated to "Hey, baby." and adam was dIsGuStEd as Nasko said one time or something. I can't remember, lul. Anyway, he will activate upon obtaining 3 keys. Also a little detail added outside near the front door, a van will also be there to inform the player that the Kidnapper is active. Here's where people can get confused. Many of the sounds you'll hear in-game may sound like they are related to the Kidnapper, but they're not. Almost all of them are random noises that happen for absolutely no reason and no purpose. You may ocassionally hear and see the wind blow the curtains in-game, but it means nothing. You may hear and see the movement from the chair to your right move, but it means nothing. (This one doesn't make sense by the way.) And you may even hear footsteps that sound like they're inside your house, sudden thonks and other noises. But they again mean absolutely NOTHING. There is only one audio indication that means the Kidnapper has arrived. And it's THIS sound link right here.

Kidnapper Audio Cue[drive.google.com]

These 3 sounds were edited to mimick the same way you'll hear them in-game. It starts with one low thump, then another louder, higher thump, and finally a weird grunt. If this plays, IMMEDIATELY turn off the light-switch behind you. Otherwise, these 3 sounds will play separately at random. As long as you don't hear them in the exact order that this audio file plays in, then you don't have to turn off the lights. But if you do, definitely turn them off! You'll only have a couple more seconds to react before he spawns! Besides the audio cue, there is also the common one people know to look out for, and that is the location services icon that appears at the top-right of the screen.

(THIS is the icon)

It looks like a tiny mouse cursor, and this does not mean that he's simply tracking but he is literally about to kidnap in mere seconds. So unless you want to be greeted by this man strangling you, I suggest you turn off those lights and shut the ♥♥♥♥ up. :) As said before, the game DOES pick up on your microphone. And talking while the Kidnapper is active is a one-way ticket to the Red Room. You must absolutely STAY silent at ALL times if your microphone is active. Otherwise, he will quite literally glide to the window and jump inside. You also CAN'T turn on the lights while the Kidnapper is active, otherwise he will teleport behind you to greet you to his basement. (Seriously, why the hell would you do this???) This is where people get caught by Kidnapper the most, however. When people hear him walking away, sometimes they may think they're safe once you hear his footsteps stop or wait a little longer before turning off the lights. But STOP, wait, and listen... The Kidnapper is not gone. And every time he leaves, you must listen out for his second speech, "There's nothing here..." in Russian. Otherwise, every time you turn back on the lights before this speech, he will get you.
How to avoid dying from THESE ♥♥♥♥♥ - Part 3: Russian Guy/Liver-Stealer Team Up
But WAIT! Don't leave yet! There's more to add about these guys. And it's over a rare situation that can easily happen if you get hacked too much... (Also, check out the additional tips below! They mention rare glitches that can easily happen if you abuse the game too much!)

There is an unintended mechanic in the game I like to call getting unfairly "Double-Ganged". What is "Double-Ganging", you ask? Well here's your answer! Imagine Russian Boi and Egg Man in this scenario. Egg Man is just way behind in the woods where Russian Boi also is. Egg Man bumps into him and asks him where he's going? Russian Boi replys in his russian accent, and Egg Man has no idea WTF he's saying, but he pretends to anyway. Then Egg Man mentions that he's on his way to go kill some weeaboo in that one cheap-ass house that Russian Boi passed 5,342 times this week, trying to find a friend. Egg Man makes a deal with Russian Boi that if he helps him, he'll help him. So then the duo teams up to create the most unfair hell for the player possible, and that's the form of this "Double-Gang" term. Still don't understand? Good! Cause I don't even understand what I just wrote! XD Ok, if you still don't get it, let me be more detailed and less rambling. So whenever you get hacked in this game, you take a risk at not only losing your notes, but also losing a high number of days. You have until Day 30 to find the Red Room before it goes "offline" as the game says when you get the GAME OVER for it. During this time, timers for the Breather and Kidnapper are also being triggered, blah blah etc. Well sometimes, if you get hacked too much and lose too many days, you may be at risk to one of the killers spawning IMMEDIATELY after said hack, in which you must react before you die. This can happen either immediatly or a couple of seconds after the hack, and it's easy to mess up and die because you could be resetting the
modem by then. And since you can't back out when resetting the modem... Yeah. You already see where this is going. Now this instance of "Double-Ganging" is not that bad and might not be a bug at all. But these other types I'm about to discuss I assure will ♥♥♥♥ you up hard if you're not careful.

During hacks, you CAN get one of the Killers to spawn, preventing you from having enough time to complete the hack before you lose everything to it. Take my instance from Breather for example. I'm trying to do the KERNEL Hack where you have to type everything out before time runs out. Then after a couple of seconds into the hack, whaddya know? I hear liver-stealer bang on my door, telling me that he wants to steal my liver baaaaaaaadddddd. So in frustration, I go to the door to check, and YES. He's there. This may or may not be a bug, but it can be insanely frustrating to counter due to the small imbalance of the A.I in this game.

There's really only ONE instance you can consistentely counter. And that is when Breather calls you when the Kidnapper is walking by. If he calls, you CAN avoid this by answering his call and immediately hanging up. Never let the phone ring or Breather speak enough or the Kidnapper will instantly get you. Otherwise, you must hope that luck is on your side when the hacks ♥♥♥♥ you over, because I've had Breather ALMOST ♥♥♥♥ me over. And if he didn't arrive near the end
of the Kidnapper's attack sequence, I'm positive that I wouldn't have had enough time to react and would've died. (Like Kidnapper, Breather also kills you outside of Computer mode if you wait too long to react. I think he gives you more time to react than Kidnapper, but don't wait too long, otherwise he'll charge into the room and kill you.)

There are plenty more instances of this happening. Whether they were on an older patch of the game I'm unsure of, but this one guy I saw who got kidnapped after dealing with Breather is a very good example of this happening. The only real way to avoid this would be obviously NOT getting hacked too much and git gud, but also resetting the modem whenever possible to reduce the chances of getting hacked. It'll leave yourself vulnerable, but it's better than nothing if
you don't want to ♥♥♥♥ up over some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Additional + IMPORTANT Tips!: Part 1
And now for "Additional Tips"! Yay!

Here's some main tips first.

-For the 8th key on Gatekeeper. It's kind of glitched or not intended to be found early. It's not set up as any other key would where it would advance the threat level and possibly the difficulty/appearance of the hacks. So when you get it, instead of adding on threat level point, it just does absolutely nothing. Probably because it's meant to be the last key you find. But if you get all of the wikis early and answer the questions on Gatekeeper, then you can get the 8th key with no problem at all. Since it does nothing to the threat level, by the time you get 3 other keys, you will have 4 keys left to find against the killers! Convient!

-Hail Satan is I believe another glitched website. I don't remember exactly how it goes, but usually for any other website if there is a key on it, then you'd have to explore EVERY single other page of the site until you see the Key Cue pop up. Otherwise, you won't know if it's there. The Key Cue seems to glitch specifically on this one site however. Instead of ONLY appearing on a specific page of the website, it instead appears on the main page too, and you may find nothing because it's on a different page of the main website. I believe I have never found a key on the main site either. I don't wanna spread too much misinformation incase I'm wrong, but be wary of this if this happens to you.

-"Friendly" Reminder: I'll shout at you guys until all of your ears bleed if I have to. EVERY cue you hear outside of the house besides the cues I've linked in this guide are 100% FAKE. They mean absolutely NOTHING. So don't go arguing and telling me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the comments otherwise. I know. That didn't sound very friendly. But then again, look at the quotations, dumbass. XD

-The Key Cue. For those of you don't know, there is an easy to see visual cue for each key you find on different websites. This cue shows up in 2 different spots. The 1st one is the Bottom-Left corner of the A.N.N browser where the "Loading" text along with the blinking planet-icon is. Whenever there is a key on the website, the text will stay visible for a couple more seconds before suddenly disappearing. This also applies to the other spot. The other spot this happens at is on the search engine bar, when it's blue bar is filling up while loading. If the blue bar once fully loaded stays on screen for a couple more seconds after the site is finished loading, then this also means there is a key on the website. Now that you know this, you can practically cheat your way through every single website of the game and not give a damn. :) This is very important to know tho since there are steam achievements for beating the game under a certain amount of days. And I'm sure any other way would probably not be impossible, but VERY hard to do.

-For listening out for audio cues, I would back out of "Computer Mode" every now and then to listen for enemies. For those confused by "Computer Mode", I'm talking about when you are clicking on the computer screen to go 2D and view the web pages and all that. There's a small detail to this mode that causes the audio around you to become much more muffled and quiet because you're focused on the Computer. And when you're not in "Computer mode" the audio from the computer
will be fainter instead because you're focusing on your surroundings. The reason this becomes a big problem is because Breather specifically is quiet. And he may become a problem if this detail is making his sound cues quieter. So every now and then if you're concerned about Breather or even the Kidnapper for that matter, you may want to back out of computer mode just to listen.

-Here's how the keys on the websites are laid out. Wiki 1-3 each have 2 keys on them. The 7th key is completely randomized and could be on ANY of the wikis. And the 8th/Final key is obviously on Gatekeeper. This tip is here to help people form a plan on how they can easily browse through the sites.
Additional + IMPORTANT Tips!: Part 2
Now for a couple of glitch tips and some fun facts just for the hell of it!

-I haven't tested this myself, but I have seen it before in a compilation or Twitch clip on this game. Apparentely if you time it just right, when the lights are off and the Kidnapper is about to attack you, you can turn on the lights again while off and set him into his active phase. It's been proven before on some clips by ClintStevens on this game that the Kidnapper won't attack you if the lights are on as long as he's already active from the lights being off. So if that makes sense, in theory, you could turn them off, then turn them on at the right moment again when Kidnapper finally speaks, and skip his light trigger jumpscare. And as long as you don't speak or your cell phone doesn't go off, then you can freely use the Computer while he's walking away and have no problems whatsoever. Again, I don't know where this clip is, but I HAVE seen it and know it's possible. And if it can be replicated, you may use this as a cheap way to take advantage of the game. :)

-This is a serious bug I've seen in some clips of the game. I don't know if it's been patched, but it involves Breather during his door jumpscare. Once Breather reaches the door, the player can use their mic to trigger the Breather very early. And the result is a very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up glitch that causes the "BRACE YOURSELF" prompt to appear and have the player still be in stealth mode where they have to hold the door at the same time. Here's a clip in case you don't believe me:

Clip Link[www.twitch.tv]

(This is NOT my clip by the way, lol. Just wanted to point this out there. Follow this guy if you want tho. And your welcome if you're the guy reading this guide. :) )

If this glitch can still be replicated in-game, here's how to avoid it. NEVER try to trigger your mic until Breather is actually trying to unlock your door/stops attempting for some time. Otherwise, you will get this to happen.

-Breather can also show up on Casual Mode and kill you. Adam trolling you again, lul. Just kidding. I forget what causes this, but it can and still happens in-game. Nasko knows more about it than I do and I think he may have patched it? He's put effort into patching stuff into these games before incase you didn't know. So go bother him or his other friends about it if you're so fussy about this... Baby.

-When trying to get the secret "WHOAMI" ending for the game where you have to find the "P 0 R N notes" I mentioned above with the pictures, there is a small, unintended, abusing glitch you can do to easily find the notes without the hassle of mousing over every clickable spot to find the active one. When you first enter a secret ending site, the note location will trigger randomly upon any of the above spots. However, if you leave the site and reload it again and abuse it by spamming it over and over again a couple of times, what happens is the same spot will remain active and a NEW spot will activate along with it. I don't know what happened on game development, but Adam didn't code the sites in a way where the original active spot should de-activate while activating the new spot upon re-loading. So with this glitch tip in mind, you can pretty much reload the site over and over again to activate ALL of the clickable spots and you can click ALL of them at the same time when on the site! It's pretty much my lazy way of finding the spots quickly without actually re-starting the game over and over again, LUL. This was only tested on Casual mode. I haven't played the game in a while and I have no idea whether or not this applies to Normal mode. I'm pretty sure it does since it's the same game, just without threats and hacks. If it works for you then have fun using this to your advantage! It's definitely how I used it to make the pictures above. (P.S, the current pictures, despite my game-play experience aren't final because I'm a lazy ass that hasn't fully tested the click-zones yet. Jeez, I hate being honest sometimes, lul. Again, they aren't final. When I play "Casual Mode" like a wimp again, I promise I will correct the pictures I KNOW aren't 100% right and fix them myself. Until then, they are what they are right now cause I'm busy doing other things.)

-Breather has secret animations that can't be seen normally by the player. And they look VERY, V E R Y COOLIO. I don't mean to be too much of a fan boy, but Breather is my favorite character. So I figured once I have footage for him, then I can include it into this guide. :)
Additional + IMPORTANT Tips!: Part 3
And finally, an edited section for some of the other tips Nasko gave me that weren't edited into the main sections of the guide! (Thanks again, buddy. Appreciated. :) )

-The Kidnapper only has a 40% chance to play the location service's icon visual cue. 60% of the time, he'll play his sound cue. Also, his visual cue will NEVER play when you're away from your computer. It only plays when you're staring/sitting at your computer. Both of these cues won't play at the same time either.

-Something that I never knew about is as long as you're on THESE following sites below, you can safely avoid getting tracked by the Kidnapper when attempting to reset the modem.

SCREAM ♥♥♥♥♥
THEPREY
ZERODAY
BLACK HAT POST
HIDDEN CAMS
ILLUMINATI
KILL FOR ME
LEGION

-Breather's spawn timer can be affected by finding keys. So going on a key finding spree may just spawn the ♥♥♥♥♥ instead of giving you a call first when the timer ends.
"Author Thanks" P.S, thanks for the I.P ;)
Well, that's it! Have fun dying ♥♥♥♥-face! If I get the chance, maybe I'll add an extra section or make a different guide for "The Waiting Room", which is a smaller, linear teaser game in preparation for "Welcome To THE GAME 2". Otherwise, I hope this all makes sense and it actually helps you guys die easily! Below are just the answers for "Gatekeeper". Besides that, you are now ready to beat this damn game since it's release. Good luck!
Gatekeeper Answers
If you complain about spelling errors upon looking at these answer lablbablings, I wanna happily let you know that I passionately labelled these questions and answers by how Adam HIMSELF spelled this stuff. So don't go crying to me about how to punchufac. :D

@Sansational Papaya Take advantage of Loudness Normalization if you have it. And remember the google drive link. That's all the advice I can really give. If you'd like, I can share a video so you can test yourself to see if you can hear the sounds.

I hate the fcking breather I hadn't played the game until they added him so I've never beaten it. Haven't played it in a while so I'm gonna try again but I don't expect to ever beat it tbh. Plus I hate jumpscares lmao

@CawMon It's always there. It's simply random on which wiki it will be located. So usually, it's probably going to be the last one you find since the final stretch is basically checking through sites you didn't explore on every wiki until you've finally narrowed it down.

@Boozer Thank you! I'm pretty busy at the moment, but I'll definitely see if I can make time for making a Waiting Room guide at some point. TWR guide would also include the same in-depth explanations I do here.
Boozer 12 Thg10, 2022 @ 5:16pm
this is by far the most in depth guide I've seen done on this game. Half the RNG elements that i thought was luck just got nullified by the cause from too many hacks. Fantastic guide, and i would KILL for a waiting room guide just like this one! Again, really fantastic work here.
