Getting lots of Mana is the main focus as it will boost dmg (cape) and barriers (vestige). Some breakpoints to be hit: 130% res, 357% ias, 100% overpower, enough cooldown reduction and effect duration that ulti is always on.

Gear
Weyricks and Life Guard. Kind of standard, lots of Mana and DR. Using Weyricks as base gives the nice +20% gem strength attrib which otherwise is not possible on a helmet.


Cape converts Mana to dmg and is our base dmg source. Nice 100% dmg boost to our main dmg source, Desecration.


Massive boost to barriers from Star and Splitting Throws is a must for any throw skill build. 4x Attack.


Set + Book of Souls to have another +10 souls for Ritual of Souls.


Set + Vestige. Our main defense, will create lots of barrier.


Set + Simplicity + Grim. Lots of dmg boost here. Creating twisters for Stormchasers.


Stormchasers for another +300% dmg. Best thing we can do on boots is Greatness rune to have the possibility to equip 4 Greater Runes described above.


Joepardy + Kingsrock. So we don't have to worry about crit hit chance and the enrage enchant on it is a big ias boost (Without enrage the same attack speed breakpoint would be at 500%!!).



For scrolls use Soul Wrap to move around quickly and to gain evasion and souls. Lightning Wyrms to gather mobs. You can use a codex and scrolls on the same hotkey, that way you save some scrolls.
You can gamble for scrolls. All you need is crystals and lots of time clicking a button (or you record a macro or write a click script).

Frozen Fate + Corpse Shatter is still really good. Also without Frozen Graves. Once one enemy starts to die, everything explodes.

We cant use Death Night Ulti cause of the Staggered Dmg. Next best thing, Lich Power.

We try to leave as many skill points open as possible to have the largest possible effect of Megan's Spark.

For Beast I use:
- Magnetic Device (+50% pickup radius)
- Gladiator's Allure (+50% Killstreak experience)
- Soul Gem (+1 Soul)
- Ritual Stone (+1 Ritual rank)
- Megan's Spark (+1% to Minor Stats for each unspent Skillpoint)
- Crystalized Mana (+3000 Mana)

Expeditions:
Not gonna list every node. It's kind of straightforward. Get all the Resistances, Dmg boosts (Shadow, Skill, Crowned, Crit Dmg, etc.), Cooldown Reduction, Mana, and extra Souls. The rest is just icing.

I have Soul Warp on [LMB] to move around and all the dmg skills on [RMB] to attack.
Wyrms on [SPACE] to gather mob.

Teleport around, gather some mobs, press [RMB], explosion, move on to next group.

Option: Satellites
You can swap [15% evasion / 20% dr / 8% dr] for a 50% base dmg boost by changing the epic enchants on amu and ring to shadow orbs and take the Bone Caster Mastery. This will increase screaming skull dmg from ~71 Bi -> ~106 Bi.
Additionally, you can swap Crystalized (Some Dmg + Barrier) with Entity's Inclination (+7% weaken per orb hit) on your Beast. For very high Tier pushing this can be beneficial. At the very least for boss fights.

Option: Frozen Graves
Frozen Grave is still powerful. But we have to ditch Jon's Book as it's a GR. Instead, go with Book of Desecration on Offhand and Frozen Grave on Boots. I put Hailstorm scrolls on hotkey [e] to proc it. On higher Tiers, monster groups do explode considerably earlier that way.

Boss Fights
Use Masochist set for boss fights just to proc some +30% to bane dmg. Then switching back to Desecrator set. You have to be careful switching back since your barrier will be gone for a few seconds.
