There are 5 main stats: STR, INT, WAR, CHR, WILL
Then we have associated skills from those as you mention in the guide. For example the only skill useful for the Model Designer is Technician, which belongs to INT.
So my main question is: Do the main stats (in that example INT) influence the result of the job and strategems played, or only the skills are important (in that example Technician)?
From the manual (5.8.1.2, Page 248) and tooltips it seems like they do affect their rolls, but I don't really understand how much of an effect they have. Your explanation in the guide seemed a lot clearer but didn't mention them much, only the lower level skills.
Those are just a list of the skill categories used by the skills below. Originally, this guide was posted on the Matrix forums, and I had the category for each listed skill color coded, depending on the stat each skill used.
Well, Steam Guides do not support colored text, so as substitute here I put in the "Skill type breakdown." So, in the above example, it is indicated that the vast majority are War skills (16 out of 20), so that is a stat you'll probably want to be good at.
