610 5th Avenue 'La Maison Francaise'

This is La Maison Francaise which is the neighbouring building of the British Empire Building on 620. situated on 610 5th Avenue it is another building part of the Rockefeller center complex.

This Art deco building is similar in style to 620, with some differences in artwork on the entrance and facades. it was completed in 1934.

Because American tenants were reluctant to rent in these new buildings, instead foreigners were encouraged to rent them, in this building's case the focus went to the french. Thus the building was named La Maison Francaise.

This building is made as it was in the 1930's with the original rooftop garden layout.
