What is this?
Playing old PC games is a pain but thankfully over the years people have figured out fixes. Changing lots of settings manually is still irritating though so here's an easy to download .rar file containing all the adjustments you'll need to fully enjoy Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on Steam.
What does the download contain?
1. 40, 50, 60 and Unlimited FPS executable files originally created by PCGamingwiki Moderator Garrett[community.pcgamingwiki.com] that can replace the game's original .exe file to play at the desired frame rate. I recommend playing at 50fps with VSync as this plays surprisingly smooth and does not have any physics problems.

2. Config files for playing in 1440p and 4K with Cloth Simulation enabled which can simply be dragged into the user's "Appdata" directory.

3. Replacement "LevelPack" contents to fix missing sounds for levels near the end of the game, originally created by Steam user Sweetz.

4. An "INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.txt" file with easy to follow instructions.

Conclusion
Thanks to the original contributors for making this game playable for so many people over the years! Please rate if you found this useful and would like future players to use! Cheers and have fun :D

It's in the download, it's named "INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.txt" which I realise now maybe I should change to make things clearer.

Just tested the game there. Launches fine. Sound like you had a problem in your install.

Sorry to necro this, but in working on this did you ever find a way to turn off the detection for page file? (use without page file)

I've seen crazier things happen with ancient PC ports in the past. I can't imagine it's that difficult.... Then again I can't code to save my life haha

Not that I know of Vanilla, considering the game is an ancient PS3/360 port with physics tied to the framerate I doubt there's any way to fix it.

Has anyone tried to fix that issue pertaining to the FPS fix causing objects to float upwards when controlled with the force?
