Welcome!
Here I'm going to be talking about everything that I know about beefalo taming, generally I will go over the tips of rushing a beefalo than to tame it mid to late game, I highly suggest watching psam's beefalo rush series and James bucket's video on beefalo taming for a more in-depth guide.
Links to their videos are here:

So, let's get started!
Domestication!
Domestication,
This is the invisible stat for your beefalo which increases whenever you ride or feed your beefalo this stat is determining when your beefalo will be fully domesticated and the higher it's domestication, the longer you will be able to ride it. However what discourages players is the price for feeding your beefalo, but what if I told you that you didn't have to feed your beefalo at all unless you want to ride it? Yup, that's right you don't have to feed your beefalo at all unless you want to ride it, let me explain:

So, basically whenever you ride your beefalo you gain domestication points, however this also nullifies the domestication that would've been lost by hunger meaning as long as your ride on your beefalo, you don't have to feed the beefalo in order to get domestication points, basically just keep riding your beefalo and you don't have to spend THOUSANDS of twigs or grass, this is how people can rush taming a beefalo, they don't have to spend all that time getting THOUSANDS of twigs and grass because they can just keep riding it, however you will still need to keep a stack of grass or twigs so that you can mount on the beefalo, why do we have to keep a stack of grass or twigs you ask? Well, this transitions into my next point:

Obedience
Obedience,
Now, you may realize that you can't get back on the beefalo when he throws you off when the riding timer is over, this is why you should carry a stack of twigs or grass because whenever you feed the beefalo you get 10% obedience points,
Basically, your beefalo must have 50% obedience points or more to be able to get mounted on,

If you try to ride on it whenever it's below 50% and over 40% it will keep the saddle on their back but won't let you on,

When it has 40% obedience points or lower it will throw off the saddle,

DONT TRY SADDLING IT AT 10% OR LOWER OBEDIENCE, this will make it so that the beefalo will try to murder you and if you hit it back, you added 6 more days to your domestication process.

Now you're probably wondering why your beefalo looks happy, fat, angry or just completely normal, well this leads to my next point:
Tendency!
Tendency!

Whenever you actually tame your beefalo, a bright flash will appear and your beefalo will have a certain tendency-trait which can be determined by looking at it

An Angry face means means you've gotten an ornery beefalo which makes it so that it can deal 50 damage, however since it's obedience will be normally 40% and above, this means you will have to feed it a twig or grass or whatever in order to mount it unlike the other beefalo types, it's run speed is 7 which is as fast as a dragonfly

A happy face on your beefalo means that you've gotten a rider beefalo which is the fastest beefalo out there which has a run speed of 8 which of course, is MUCH faster than a dragonfly especially with a glossamer saddle, it deals 25 damage, which isn't that good.

A Fat face means that you've gotten a pudgy beefalo which gives the same amount of sanity as a tam o shanter, also it's only slightly faster than the average character by .5 speed-points which is technically faster but honestly, it's not really worth it, it deals horrible damage, 20 damage points.

A normal faced-beefalo means that you've gotten a normal tamed beefalo which is literally just a beefalo that's tamed, dealing 34 damage, has a run speed of 7 and yeah.... it doesn't really have anything special but it doesn't have that much negatives either.

How do we get the specific tendency's we want?

In order to get ornery, you attack, in order to get rider, you ride, in order to get pudgy, you stuff the beefalo's face over and over and over and over again and for default you somehow balance all 3 methods.
In order to actually get the type you want, the points for the tendency you want must be greater than the amount of the other two combined, basically here's just a simple equation,
Ornery > Pudgy + Rider, this is an example if I want to have an ornery beefalo.

Items related to beefalo taming!
Here are the Items that are related to beefalo taming

A standard saddle is typically the first kind of saddle you can get with the beefalo it's just a normal saddle that just allows you to start your beefalo-taming adventure! Costing 4 gold nuggets, 4 pig skins and 4 beefalo wool

A glossamer saddle gives a speed boost to the beefalo, 55% more to be precise. It costs 2 living logs, 4 spider silk and the most costly part, 68 butterfly wings, I recommend using a construction amulet in order to half this amount.

A ornery saddle gives 16 more damage, it costs 4 ewecus wools, 4 rabbits and 10 logs.

A brush costs one walrus tusk, 2 gold and one ewecus wool, this item gives 40% obedience points once per day and can shorten the amount of time when domesticating your beefalo, however if you're rushing a beefalo I don't really recommend this item.
Tips for beefalo taming!

DONT ATTACK YOUR BEEFALO, this will make the process of taming your beefalo 6 days harder or if you already tamed your beefalo, this will slowly yet surely decrease your domestication points and if you attack enough times, you will lose all of your progress.

DONT SHAVE YOUR BEEFALO, this will shorten the ride time, don't do it no matter how good of a barber you are.

DONT ATTACK ITS CHILDREN TO BABY BEEFALO! This will make the beefalo hostile when you dismount off the beefalo, if you do end up attacking the baby beefalo, DONT ATTACK THE BEEFALO even though you attacked the baby beefalo, the beefalo won't lose domestication unless you hit it.
That's all for beefalo taming, now let's go onto beating the bee queen with beefalos!
Beefalo Method for killing bee queen!

Beefalo's VS Bee queen (or whatever boss you want, but I'm mainly focusing this on bee queen) By the way, check out psam's channel because he actually told me most of these tips when fighting bee queen with beefalo.

Have you ever wanted to bring in the Calvary; beefalos to attack the bee queen but don't know how? Well, here's how to use beefalo against the bee queen.

Basically, we all know that beefalo go in heat in winter, spring and the second year and above in autumn, we can use this to our advantage when fighting bee queen.

First you need to start moving beefalo herds, basically you just need hit the beefalo, then run away and when it slowly runs back towards the herd, wait for it to stop and when it starts to wander around, you need to attack the rest of the herd and bring that herd to the beefalo you just hit and then rinse and repeat until you reach the bee queen hive!

Do this with all the beefalo herds so that you don't get any beefalo-deaths when fighting the bee queen with beefalo,

You typically want around 30 beefalo when fighting bee queen with beefalo so that no beefalo die.

Now here is what you want to do when fighting bee queen,
During phase 1 and 2 you should just run away from the bee queen because the bee queen will be heavily targeted towards you and not the beefalo, if the bee queen loses attention towards you, you should hit the bee queen and let it chase you around.
During phase 3 and 4 you should have the grumble bees that the bee queen summons go through the herd of the heated beefalo, and when the bee queen is screeching or summoning grumble bees, you should attack her then and after that, have fun with your bee queen crown and royal jelly.

If you have any questions about this, just type a comment. Also feel free to add me if you ever want to play some DST together! I'm kind of lonely.

By the way, this is probably a irrelevant tip, but since you are bringing all the beefalo together with the bee queen vs beefalo method, you could shave them all for a TON of fuel.

Nice, I love beefalo rushing. For the glossamer saddle I prefer to just rush it since it only takes like 5 days to farm up the wings even without a construction amulet, but for newer rushers it might be an annoying extra step.
