PQ3-F (Almost finished quadcopter medium/heavy lifter)

Descrizione
(P)ropeller (Q)uadcopter Number (3), (F)irefighting equipped version: PQ3-F
by Tugger

This craft is updated often and may be uploaded in a broken state.

Why did I build this? I want a capable and easy to use vehicle in stormworks. That means it needs to go faster than a boat, be easy to walk around in (no ducking required), be well equipped for most tasks (fire, rescue, towing), and be multiplayer friendly. It should also be capable of lifting all except the heaviest ship spawned from the workbench.

How to fly:

Enable ignition, push and hold starter until progress bar is maxed out.

-Press 1 to tilt props forward, use short taps of Up Arrow axis/key to taxi out of hangar. caution: prop can go forward and reverse thrust

-Press 1 to tilt props back up to hover mode, 2 to enable attitude assist, 3 to enable altitude and speed hold

-Hold Up Arrow until 50 - 100m above ground

-Use Right/Left arrow to rotate towards destination

-Press 1 for flight mode while holding Backward/D key and Up, keep nose pointed up until sufficient speed, then trim -0.08 W/S and 0.20 - 1.0 on UP/DOWN

-In Flight Mode, use trim LEFT/RIGHT (A/D) to turn and trim FORWARD/BACK (W/S) for pitch

-Once close to destination clear trim, wait for axis to center, press 1 to transition to hover mode

-Press 4 to lock GPS hold to help fight strong winds, be aware nose will automatically point into the wind, GPS Hold will also disable use of Flight Mode prop angle

Use the Assist +/- keys to adjust Hover Mode for fine vs coarse control

Don't forget your remote control in case you fall out
