All trains approach and leave the city from the same direction. This should minimize jamming.

The signals aren't exactly right - you might have to add 1 or 2 signals to keep a train from getting stuck trying to leave.

The topmost track in the image is the "leftbound" main track, and the lower-most track in the image is the "rightbound" main track. These comprise the common 2 way tracks - but in this design they are separated by a large space to allow trains to never have to cross a track to get in and out of a city and also the trains never reverse and continue forward from the station.

This design tries to optimize jam-proofing while still allowing very long trains that are longer than the station length of 6 squares. No more guys in the forums waving their finger at you "keep your trains short!" You can just laugh at them when you use this stamp!
