Kuvaus
The Kewtian God of Thunder, Matthew Favson, comes to Rivals of Aether! Featuring lots of armored moves and heavy attacks, Matt is a giant super-heavy character with tons of power.

Moveset

Neutral Special
Matt charges up a projectile attack, with 4 charge stages. The first 3 can be angled and will fire an orb made of space itself, while the 4th releases a powerful lightning strike!

Side Special
Matt grabs the opponent, and has 4 throws in different directions. With forward throw he can slam into walls and throw the opponent forward. With back throw, Matt will shoot his projectile from neutral special at the enemy. With up throw, Matt will launch the opponent into a portal, teleport to them, and then punch them upward. And with down throw, Matt will slam into the ground.

Up Special
Matt charges up electricity and goes flying! A simple move that hits hard and has some armor.
If used on the ground, Matt will charge up a lightning bolt from above, and release a blast around himself!

Down Special
If tapped, Matt will create a portal. If used again, he'll summon a planet from the portal which acts as a projectile. Matt can also grab the planet with side special, or hit it to change it's trajectory. Landing on the planet with hold down special will also make Matt bounce.
If held, Matt will do a stomp attack instead. If it's uncharged, it can be jump-cancelled on hit. While charging, Matt can also jump off the ground.

The Sanctum

Matt also comes with a stage; The Sanctum!
Extras
- Matt can charge (almost) every single attack he has! Some attacks will become extra powerful when charged (but extra slow).
- If you charge Neutral special for a very long time, Matt will use a super move instead!
- If Matt misses certain attacks, you can hit him afterwards for extra damage!
- Set a Matt CPU to Level 1 for an overpowered CPU mode! This mode isn't invincible, but Matt will use more of his power!

Hi! You might be thinking of the Munophone feature where CPU Kragg can't do up special?
Afaik it just changes a few base cast things to be less annoying during testing (at least I think that was the intention, haha).

Anyway, it should only affect CPUs in practice mode, and can be turned off under "utilities". Matt himself shouldn't really be doing anything special with Kragg or anyone else from base cast.

Though with all that said, if you're 100% sure that it's affecting players and/or outside of practice mode, I'll definitely look into it!

@HeavensFang Thank you, glad you like them!

I totally understand the marketable plushie thing, lol. Kewtians (such as Matt) are meant to look kinda like plushies, so it makes sense you got that impression. Glad you can enjoy them regardless of style differences though!

That said, there'll be more Kewtians in the future as well as many that aren't at all like that (both OCs and not), so there's much more to look forward to!
