Server browser tip:

If you do not see that many servers, open the server browser. Bottem left has box and before that it says: Standard Servers Only.

Open that checkbox, and you will see alot more servers.

Tools

- Cache Extractor.

This is a tool that imports maps stuff etc from your cache, meaning you dont have to manually download map from a website, rather it uses the downloaded map from a server.

In theory, it should work the same as the UT version, this however, should be able to use .u files flawlessly.

- Regfix for ut4mod files http://www.utzone.de/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=3465 This will allow ut2mod installs. Also works for 2003, Both steam, and retail.

-Jailbreak Yes, Its also for 2004. There's plenty of maps for it too. http://jailbreak.beyondunreal.com/download/jb2004-mod/

alright ill give it a try when i get to my pc, and yes i should have stated the error, sorry bout that. i will post that as well if admin doesnt fix the issue

If it gives you errors you should state what error you have. I cant help you if you do not state what error you have. Also, You need to run it as administrator because it edits stuff in registry.

can anyone help me install ut4mod files PLEASE, the ut2kx regcheck app does nothing but give me errors. thanks if you can

Anyone got a link for the Soul's Fury mod? The creator's site appears to be offline :(

It seems the souyls fury now has a patch that fixes this. I have yet to test this!

Its better to ask the creator of that mod if there is a fix. I dont have that problem.

I have a problem with Soul's Fury. When I load it my mouse does not seem to be working in the menus (If I mash the ~ key for console it picks it up for a millisecond). It works just fine in the actual gameplay though. Any fixes?

The thing is, Most of the mods like Frag and SAS are dead. TO C does have peopel playing on occasion.

Thanks, all stuff for Ballistic is on moddb.com; while you're at it might want to add modded XGame.u which enables Ballistic guns in SP, it really changes everything.
One more tacticool mod/conversion would be FragOps. Not as complex as TO Crossfire but still decent fun.
And if you're into a mix of melee/medieval/modern/experimental guns and gametypes, try ChaosUT2.
Sorry if I'm spamming you, those are just some mods and conversions that I found good enough throughout nearly 10 years that I was playing UT2004.
