Hello! and behold my newest unit, The spartan Glory Guard. --The royal detachment of the gods, these hardened Spartan swordsmen are men of stone. Each man had to slay a lion, with but his hands, to join this unit. in honor of their descedency from Heracles and that Heracles himself wore a Nemean lion's pelt on upon his crown.
Their image sends chills down the spine of all men. They are Spartans. And they know no fear.

They are in custom battle and campaign, recruitable from royal barracks.

I thought sparta was in need of some good elite heavy swordsmen, so i created This VERY powerful, yet still mortal melee unit, but also quite an expensive one. they have the standard shield wall and testudo, along with some spirit and Presence abilites.

They are very tough, and won't ever falter, and will fight to the death. They can be bested, but by god you had better bring a good bit of guys to do it. This unit is capped at 5.
