I have played the scenario through more than 20 times and I never experienced anything like that. The APC will transport you to your destination and can then be called in for support, but you cant enter it again after the initial transport.
I guess if the APC was attacked before while still hiding out behind the construction site something weird could happend, but as I said in 20 or more playthroughs I have never experienced that.
I briefly explain what happens:
at the beginning of the mission I called the amv7 marshall that did not intervene because, at the coordinates 220073 it continues to move up and down without ever leaving the position. After carrying out the mission, I tried to get two members of my team, the only survivors, onto the vehicle, but it hit them and killed them all. I also tried to eliminate the two soldiers who were near the vehicle to see if the situation collapsed but nothing happened. The country has been cleared but the mission is not unlocked. Too bad because it was a really good mission.
