11/27/21: Thank you everyone for using my spreadsheet! Now that the zoopedia has been expanded, the sheet is now obsolete, and I won't be updating it anymore. I'm happy that I was able to help so many people for such a long time!


Hello! You must be here because you've had trouble organizing your zoo the way you've imagined it. The Zoopedia isn't great at filtering where animals live or whether they're endangered, you would need to click on every single one to see that information. If you're like me, you like to design your zoo based on a specific continent, or at least have different sections for those continents. Well I made a spreadsheet that makes all that information easily visible. It also includes other useful information for designing a habitat! What their relationship with humans is, if they can swim, or if they're a walk-about animal, and I plan to add more.

Lets open an example from Africa, you can see that each animal is listed alphabetically and has different rows off to the right that list their biome, relationship with humans, whether they're a walkabout animal, or if they can swim. Next to the names you can see different symbols, the hearts symbolize if they gain enrichment from living with eachother, and the crosses mean which DLC they're added from. Attached to their name is a link, that link brings you to their wikipedia page that can give you much more detailed information on the animal if need be.

You might be thinking what all those confusing letters mean. At the very bottom of the spreadsheet there is a list of the different symbol and terms and what they mean. That way no one will get confused.





This spreadsheet also includes exhibit animals tab that is categorized the same as the habitat animals, though it only has temperature, humidity and conservation status.
