Descrizione
This Mod drops additional items when mining and salvaging to making mining and salvaging more realistic. This Mod was developed to work with the Production Bay Upgrades but can function on its own.

Just to note, for auto mining setups you may uncheck the collect cargo option which will prevent filling up r-mining/salvaging AI ships.

The following drops have been added to Ships, Stations, Wreckage, and ALL Asteroids.

Salvaging: Ships/Stations/Wreckage:
  • Scrap Metal
  • Steel

Mining: Asteroids (including normal ones):
  • Carbon
  • Coal
  • Diamonds
  • Gems
  • Iron Ore
  • Ore
  • Silicon
  • Silver
  • Water

Updates:
1.0.5:
- Peformance Updates: changes the way the scripts handle loot spawns to prevent wreckage spawn lagging.
- Added "onDestroyed" checks to allow droping loot on destruction to match games mechanic for loot spawns.

The drops for these are the initial build and feedback is welcomed. I will most likely be adjusting these for balance as the Production Bays Mod and this one is developed.

For anyone wishing to make the change themselves, if you navigate to your workshop mods for avorion, follow the path in your steam library folder to --- steamapps\workshop\content\445220\2254574763\data\scripts\sector\backgroundsdksectormodifier.lua ---- edit the lua file with something like notepad++ if you want to make it easier to read, any notepad or text editor will work. The edit is on line 73, or just hit control (ctrl) + F and search for IronOreCargo, proceed to change it to IronOre, save and you're good.

To fix the iron ore refinement in the vanilla refinery, the line Spawn.IronOreCargo(_Entity, _ReservedFor) must be changed to Spawn.IronOre(_Entity, _ReservedFor). For whatever reason, having Cargo at the end is converting all iron ore, even iron from a regular iron asteroid, to become a cargo variant trade good rather than a material.

System Upgrade - Specialized Production Bays mod fixed the iron ore bug for me

It seems to me that something went wrong and I can't refine the iron ore at the refinery, but it works with other ores and scraps (even iron) correctly. I can use the mobile refinery bay from your other mod to refine iron ore, but the vanilla refinery still doesn't work, what went wrong?

All your Mods are great, i do have a question though. in reference to (salvaging) since i added all of your SDK mods. I'm having an issue while salvaging with fighters. some of the ships explode while being salvaged and kill most of my salvaging fighters. is there a way to disable this?
