How to change the language used in Dark Souls 1

How to change the language with the help of windows 10 settings:

  1. Open language settings
  2. Click on `Date time & regional settings`
  3. Go to the regional settings combo box
  4. Select 'English (United States) or any other supported language
  5. Start dark souls now
  6. Enjoy DS1 in English or other language

Do not forget to change the settings back after playing.

to anyone having trouble with the language change AND is running DSfix.ini run the DARKSOULS.exe in compatibility mode (as WinXP SP3) it should accept the full config
