Plagues of the Liber Bubonicus SFO (version 1.0.10) (Single-player) (Updated for S&F)

The Plagues of the Liber Bubonicus adds unique mechanics to Clan Pestilens for both the Mortal Empires and Vortex campaigns. These mechanics are not a complete overhaul, but are intended to make the campaign more interesting and to add some flavour to Clan Pestilens.


The first mechanic allows the player to spend food and a new warpstone gas resource to upgrade Clan Pestilens specific units. The units affected are Plague Monks, Censer Bearers, Plagueclaw Catapults and a new unit Scourge Sentinels. Each unit type supports 3 tiers of upgrades with each tier costing more food and warpstone gas than the last.

Upgrade Costs:
Each tier 1 upgrade costs 5 food and 25 warpstone gas.
Each tier 2 upgrade costs 10 food and 50 warpstone gas.
Each tier 3 upgrade costs 15 food and 100 warpstone gas.

Once you have upgraded a unit type 3 times you can choose to unlock a related regiment of renown that has it's own plague ability. Unlocking each regiment of renown will cost 250 warpstone gas.

The second mechanic adds campaign bonuses as you upgrade your units in the Plague Laboratory screen. When you have invested in 6 upgrades you gain access to a new army plague ability that can be used once per battle to cause great damage and penalties to your enemies for a short period of time. When you have invested in 12 upgrades (the maximum available) then you unlock a second more powerful army plague ability.

- Supreme Sentinels (Scourge Sentinels RoR)
- Bearers of the Bells (Censer Bearer RoR)
- The Claw of Bubonicus (Plagueclaw Catapult RoR)

Skrolk has been given a skill that allows him to refine +3 warpstone gas per turn with an upgrade that allows him to refine +6 warpstone gas per turn. Plague Priests have a skill to refine up to +3 warpstone gas per turn.

Warpstone gas is also available from buildings in the Plagues building chain and the Energy building chain. You start with 50 warpstone gas.

This is the SFO version of the mod. It replaces the vanilla version completely.
- Units have been balanced for SFO
- Unit costs have been modified
- Damage of the plague abilities have been balanced for SFO
- Anointed Plage Monk units gain bonuses from Plague Laboratory
