SS Prince Pittsburgh

The SS Prince Pittsburgh was the first ship owned by the Smakkacow River and Ocean Line. The keel was laid and the ship was completed in 1857.

The boat mostly served in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as a transportation ferry, serving the Ohio River and the nearby cities. In 1875, when Pittsburgh was the steel capital of america, she was made into a tour boat for the city. Luckily, she had a bar on B deck, making the trip somewhat more enjoyable.

There was also cargo space in the lower decks, turning quite the profit transporting coal to the many steel mills in Pittsburgh.

In 1881, disaster struck as the owners of the ship put off maintenence for too long. The boiler exploded, killing nearby firemen and damaging the fire supression system. Due to this, the ship sank in a mere minute and a half, capsizing at about the minute mark. Luckily, captain T-Tan builds directed the evacuation of a majority of the passengers. While boarding the lifeboat, they noticed how close the lifeboat was to the raging boiler fire.

Now that I've got into MrNjersey's Weekly Top 5 (thanks everyone) I noticed he got confused, so let me clarify. You have to throttle the boiler fully or it'll likely explode. Also, the telegraph has no effect on the boiler because it is powered by electric pivot, technically.
