Imitation of the russian Kraz 255.

Welcome people. I present you my imitation of russian Kraz 255 Firetruck.

  • Top speed 100 km/h

  • 5-speed automatic gearbox with kickdown ability - pressing W when engine is running at very low RPM can force transmission to skip down one gear for quicker acceleration.

  • Gear selector - positions P for parking, R reverse, N neutral and D forward. Clutch will be engaged right after you shift into gear. Thats why I recommend to shift only when braking using S at the same time.

  • Truck has parking camera which will be shown on gear selector screen once you left R shifted for longer than 2 seconds.

  • 2104 L fuel capacity.

  • 7100 L water capacity.

  • Refueling connectors for both tanks.

  • Equipped with radio, channels 1-32.

  • Heated cab

  • Welcome light - when you open the door, light in cabin will light up and remain turned on when you close the door for 10 seconds. Useful at night.

  • Direction lights, controlled by hotkeys.

  • Auto-park - when you turn off the engine, gearbox will put itself in park gear, so you dont have to waste time shifting it to P yourself.

  • First person equipment - including firefighting outfits, radios, flashlights, fire extinguishers, welding torches, med kits and hoses.

  • Water canon on the top of the cab. - controlable by buttons or by passenger seat´s up/down left/right.

Using truck is super simple. Just sit in, start engine with key button next to steering wheel on the right, shift in gear using gear selector in the middle of the cabin or using Up/Down buttons and go.

The creator of this workshop item has been wrongfully banned by the developers of this damned game
for criticizing what they do and how they do it, he asked a simple question "why do you break already working stuff?"
and the cold blooded developers that have a mentality of a humongous car pileup
have banned him off the whole stormworks community tab, this means he cannot post comments,
post new workshop items and comment on discussions, this is outrageous and we should not accept such actions from these developers.

If it is made with PID controler, just try to adjust these numbers.

got a very simplistic pass through microcontroler that can do both a speed limiter and a cruise control (all without loosing the regular throttle function), although it's nowhere near as smooth as it could be if done by someone more competent than I, might upload for mrnjersey or something to look at.
