Westland Sea King - RAF SAR

The Westland Sea King is a British license built version of the American Sikorsky Sea King using new Rolls Royce engines and different avionics. The helicopter saw a large export market to European nations serving search and rescue as well as anti submarine warfare and airborne early warning roles in multiple navies. The helicopter became famous in the UK due to being widely seen on television during prominent search and rescue operations by both the airforce and navy. Here it is the Royal Air Force search and rescue paint scheme of yellow and is outfitted with a winch and folding tail.
