This is a small Excel file i used to analyze crops.
If it's too confusing (i didn't put explanations there, so it propably is) just do this:
Start with parsnips -> 3-4 harvests, then do kale (best XP with good watering to profit ratio (almost the same as Cauliflower, only 5% weaker)).
With summer you should have sprinklers so it's coffee (only drops from mines) and blueberry.
Without sprinklers melons are propably your best bet (because you will have chance for GIANT crop), as they are every good input for jars and kegs (jars create less profit, but can process more fruits).
Then you can do watever you want, you should have enough money. If not, make wheat for beer, and pumpkins.
keg / coffee / preserve jar/cask methods may offer meta returns per day spent but very grindy and demands a lot of work from the player.

Turn'em into wine. Starfruit from Sandy's is the best for this.
