[V1.0.0.5][Endless 100+] Oriental Desecrator - 1 button Face tanking Warlock
By Cocosoy
Behold the mystic desecrator from the east, whom can be easily played with only 1 hand while face tanking everything in Mystic XV (I am currently at T100+, but I was told he can easily push to T500+).

Introduction

A friend showed me this build and I immediately fell in love with it after trying it out. I named it Oriental Desecrator because my friend said he was inspired by a similar build on a Chinese gaming site. This build is designed around the Desecrator set. I will try to upload a show case video if I get my screen recording to work:)

** This is not an ideal build for those who just reached the end game, because it has low magic find and requires 4 True Legendary gears with runes to be effective. **

For players who just reached the end game

I strongly recommend you to follow one of the 0 TL magic find build and start farming LR/Rune stones while gear up. One example could be find here: 0 TL magic find build by bz

I used one of bz's build to farm up my current build.
Video Showcase
A video showcase of this build running Endless Tier 100.

Overview
Pros
  • Extremely tanky, face-tanking all the way.
  • Easy to play, only need to click LMB/RMB. No micro needed.
  • A very strong warlock build to get your feet wet.
  • Capable of pushing Endless to Tier 100+ easily.

Cons
  • Might be hard to gear up, requires several TL gears and Great runes.
  • Need to be at around M400 to be effective.
  • Low movement speed (depend on Soul Wrap to travel around)
  • It gets boring when you just steamroll everything.
Stats
Unbuffed Stats for reference

Skills and Masteries

Notes

As you can see I put most of my Mastery point into extra HP for better survivability. This build does NOT depend on Mastery for damage. So you should be rolling comfortably at around M400. (notes, because of Lucilla's vision GR, having additional HP actually increase your dps as well.)
Gears/Runes/Gems
You can play around with runes and random enchants, it doesn't have to be exactly like mine. I just find the following to fit my play style the best.

Notes

Heartstone does NOT nullify "One for all". Although your stats panel will show 0% resistance, the calculation for one for all is done before Heartstone rune's effect kicks in.
Gameplay and Rotation

I bind all my active skills (except Soul Wrap) to LMB. (Just go to Settings - Keybindings, and then set all skills' hotkey to LMB)

Gameplay consist of the following:

- Right click to blink into enemy cluster.
- Hold LMB for 2 sec.
- Right click to blink into the next cluster.
- Repeat and profit.

Yep, it's that simple.

In order to facetank, you will need to keep attacking (hold LMB). You will die if you just stand idle and do nothing.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a face-tanking easy to play Warlock build, I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

Due to current Endless progression system, it's just too tedious to keep pushing to deeper levels. So I stopped pushing shortly after T100. Once the developer implement the skip mechanic in next patch, I will truly test the limit of this build.

Thanks for reading! I will try my best to answer any question/comments~

Enjoy!

How can you kill the boss with this build since it requires a large mob of monsters to stack the desercrator damage

The accessory shown in the video Balgars Binding... I have one but it says Berzerker only. Am i wasting my time trying to gamble for a Warlock Baldars Binding?

Do certain environments increase drop rates for certain item? Porthos is taking forever to find. (wondering cause graveyard enemies and areas seem to drop desecrator more often, as hell seems to drop Burning Hell more often)

Also, second on UsmcGruntz' question about Simplicity.

You can maximize your damage potential a few ways in this build that you have listed here.
1) Unbind Soul Warp from the ability tree, and rebind it as a codex & scrolls (keep points in Flicker and Soul Thief), with Soul Jar Mastery you will now gain 2 souls per warp, this really helps keep your ritual of banes fueled with 5 souls.

2) Bind Plague, and find 3 skill points to pump into misery for a bonus 15% damage, which stacks with weaken soul, which is also a Bane skill giving you about 8% extra DR.

This is best combined with Zhuugus' suggestion, Freeing your boots up for other interesting possibilities, like Staggering Cloudrunners for QoL speed. Or even messing around with Pathmakers + Jotun Desecrators + Jon's Desecrator's Work. Which you can then build a similar Fire and Shadow Lock and use Firelord's Pathos. The damage is insane that way.

@Zhuugus, I will try it out at some point, sounds promising!

@Cocosoy, ooooo ok ty. Didn't notice it lol. Still trying to get the boots, splitting throw rune, and the lucille's vision (again). I'm also using a codex to teleport instead of soul warp, might do a little tweaking to try to keep bone storm around if i'm able to.

Great build! Finally I have a build for every class to push endless 100+
Suggestion: change epic enchant on weapon for the one that increases attack speed on critical hits. It's base AS, so it gives a lot more than listed 40%. AS in this build is king. Since you won't be summoning twisters anymore, boots can be changed to Battle boots. I believe this is more damage and more survivability overall.
