How To Get The JackSepticEye Septic Tank in 2020

If you're looking for info on how to get the JackSepticEye Septic Tank Item in Subnautica, then look no further. Once Subnautica was fully released, the option to redeem a code in-game was disabled, however I have found a way to redeem codes in-game in 2020. This means that you can use a code to receive the Septic Tank easily!

Now we need to redeem the code to recieve the Septic Tank

Launch the experimental version of Subnautica
To do this, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to your Library
2. Right click Subnautica and select properties
3. Click the 'betas' tab
4. Open the dropdown menu and select the 'experimental' beta
5. Click close

Now allow Subnautica to update, and launch the game when it is ready.
Now we need to redeem the code to recieve the Septic Tank
1. After opening Subnautica, go into the settings menu from the title screen
2. Then select "Redeem a Key" and paste in the code below:

SMHB-VC57-V748-8EGU-1EO



After applying this key, close the game and naviagte back to the 'betas' tab, and select 'none' in the dropdown menu.


You will recieve the Septic Tank in your Steam inventory, and will now be able to craft it in-game (using 1 titanium and 1 glass)!


Note; this only works on the Steam version of Subnautica, it will not work on the Epic or Playstation versions.

worked for me in base game (20.08.2024) had to re-start the game after entering the key. Thank you @Incognito for the key

Worked for me, just do it in the base game now instead of the beta

It can be got now. Go into options and redeem a key and it works there. Wasn't in Exp branch either.

It unfortunately doesn't work anymore. As you said it doesn't work in the normal game however if you go to the experimental version the redeem button in the settings isn't even there...

hey im still getting notifications that this is getting comments just cuz i have it subscribed to, also it worked fine for me in 2021 so maybe it just needs to be updated or maybe ur not enterin the right code
