解説
General Info
This is a TTT map for up to 32 players. All textures should be included in the addon.
The map is relative large and open. Though, it also allows for close and midrange combat.


Map Concept
  • The core of the map is a large low-poly canyon with a river at the bottom.

  • The canyon is vertically divided into four levels. There are not many ramps to get higher which provides a lot of choke points for terrorists to control. Though, high range combat is often the easiest mean to eliminate opposing terrorists.

  • There are two traitor traps and some additional features for traitors to exploit.

  • Beware of the heatwave. Due to malicious intention, an accident or bad luck, the canyon may be befallen by a heatwave. Though, there's a sufficiently large space to escape to...

This map has not been sufficiently tested yet and may contain some bugs or other issues. If you find anything please let me know.

@ZandyButt Check out https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2846027387 . I've removed the heatwave and the wall blocking the cave there. I haven't properly tested it though so let me know if there are any issues.

I hope it isn't much of a request. I'd just love to play this in sandbox or other stuff without the heatwave and caves being blocked off, I cannot stress how awesome this map is. It's hard to find stuff this good.

Can we please get one without the heatwave... please?? This is perfect but that heatwave is annoying.

I think we only played 2-3 rounds, so that explains it! Great map btw!

@chumbeenus, There's always a 25% chance that it will open after 3 minutes. However, you can actually trigger it by hitting the sky with something - be it a player, a prop or sometimes even weapons.

e.g. you can use grenades if you're high enough. And traitor weapons like the knife and a melon launcher should work too.

But I think that I might increase the chance to 33% after a delay of 2 minutes or something.

how do you get to the underground cave? it was blocked off when i played the map with my friends. we only saw it in spectator mode.

Actually, that place made an appearence in F-Zero GX. Though it was only in the singleplayer story and was just a drag race between you and one other racer.

Oh I see. Well, I belive the race track is rather flat as the engine back then was probably not so great. So a direct adaptation would probably not be so great from a gameplay POV. Though, a more creative adaptation could work of course. But I'll leave that to whoever knows F-Zero ;)

I'm sorry about that. Didn't know F-Zero or that Red Canyon could be associated with the respecive location.
I also think that such a soundtrack may be more annoying than enjoyable in a TTT map but if there's a demand for that, I could add it...
