On the 1km, you need to be quite zoomed out and have the building in one side and the connection practically on the other side of the screen, when you find the sweet spot with them they are so damn useful, that's why when I put them down I put down a power line on the ends so I can at least find them again..

Ok thanks Dr Fish. I think i see how it works now thanks too your description. I was trying to use the 1km connections, Theres no way to see their exit points.

Just put underground connections and connect it with regular wires :)

Hi Sililos,
I use them and when you place, or have the building selected to place, you will see off the building the yellow triangle connection point(s).
It is best to see with the shortest ones. Have one in hand ready to place and rotate it, you should see the yellow triangle rotate around the building at the set distance. The 1000m connections are hard to see unless you zoom out, I believe it may be a game problem that you have to see the start of the building to be able to see the connection 150 to 1000m away, or be holding the correct power line.
When I place a blueprint I plonk down a power line on the connector so I can see it.
For the transformers you will have the cage part, as I call it, which has its connections and away from the cage you will have the underground connectors at the specified distance away.
I had trouble when I started but once you get it and figure out the zoom level to make the connections show up, you'll never go back to wires everywhere.

Ok i really have no idea whats going on here. Despite watching the video, i cant work out how too attach the underground (nor normal for that matter) Substations here.

I dont speak Russian and things in the vid arent all that clear without verbal cues i dont think.

Hello,
No, the power does not have a certain direction. You can have multiple inputs and multiple outputs with any combinations

Hello,
I really like the idea of these and have tried to use them and I am just wondering if the power has to go in at a certain end?
I ask as I set-up a network where the power was going in on the "cage" end and the output was the underground end and nothing.
I put another one next to it but backwards, wired it in and there was power that went from underground end to cage end.
So I wonder if there is a direction of the flow...or possible I missed a little connection on the original one.
Many Thanks
