How to create a border for your custom skill icons

Creating your skill icon border

1. Open your skill icon in your preffered program (e.g. Photoshop).
Press Ctrl+O in Photoshop and open your custom skill icon.
2. Add Larian's skill icon as a new layer and match the layer size with your skill icon.
3. Make a selection of Larian's skill icon layer
Ctrl + Left Click on the layer icon.
4. Choose your custom skill icon layer and add a layer mask
Make sure the center is white and the border is black. White reveals content, black hides.

5. Hide Larian's skill icon layer (you should see an eye icon next to the layer icon).

That's it! You have your own custom skill icon just like it was created by Larian!
