Yes but it is for personal use, it's been a long time that I want to make games (but the modeling and code affraid me). Also, I can't make what I want on Garry's Mod. Yes Source is very very very (1 hour later) very practical, documented and complete, but the 500m² of usable space is not enough is some case. Also, it is completely impossible to create a bunch of functionalities on a server without a very big lost of fps. :Furrowed:

I know UE is different, but now I have all the basics and it is more interesting for me to try creating something on a modern game Engine. Gmod is very good for starring in a lots of domain. But we have to go out if we want to professionalize our project. Like Gmod Tower -> Tower Unite. :cubehappy:

There is no Garry's Mod or SFM equivalent on the Unreal Engine. Therefore, I see no reason to study this engine. It's the same with Unity. Everyone is now reliable on S&Box and Source Engine 2.

gg, I have stopped making maps for Source Engine. I switched to Unreal Engine. :OrangeSurprise:

Youtube вообще яркость поменял сильно карта в игре намного ярче выглядит. В SFM хз тож самое вроде.
Вот просто скрин - https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2199112534 сравни с видео там намнго темнее.

Что бросается в глазах в Гаррисе – так это освещение; есть сравнение с тем как оно выглядит в SFM?

For some reason, youtube has greatly reduced the brightness of the video. The original file was much lighter.

Yes, I almost completely took the brush base from the 2017 map. Most of the models, such as decor, electronics and some more models, were already from other interiors. But I did a lot of things from scratch, the same pictures, a new sofa, a table ...

That style looks like it's from the 60s.
Did you have to port the whole map again or you just edited the texture from your previous port?
